Eyes-Free Shell for Android
Uninstalled. No documentation for it. Still experimental. Not worth the time. Sucks
Interesting idea and a good start. Keep it up. Not for me however
Shows what Android is capable of but not useful if you can see.
Amazing, the idea is rediculous, the possibilities are endless.
Would like the power button / volume pressed rapidly as hotkey
Would like the power button / volume pressed rapidly as hotkey
Ygt
Force closes every time. USELESS!
The concept is wonderful but too often mistakes on operation. Not so easy to use.
As a visually impaired android user I see the potential to this app but it doesnt work with my Moto Droid. I will come back and try again later :)
Fantastic app, im so going to take this into wrk tomorrow and show some of my blind co workers
I like the idea but seams only apps selection works? Time and location do nothing. And when u bring up letter ring if wrong ones u gotta gues tillfind
Great but some bugs still need to be worked out in terms of voice not activating or delayed.
Exelent work. Just need more volume consitancy between the two voices.
Innovative interface that doesn't rely on seeing to use android making it much more accessible. The simplified ui may also help older folk navigate
Great! Using strokes instead of buttons is kinda weird, but it's a really cool concept! Can we get a music player that does this? I want it for my car
Uninstalled and re-installed, now it works. Neat concept but the execution could be better
Has potential but not for me...Uninstalling.
Never seen any app force close like this one
To geniuses compelled 2 waste time via commenting: "nice app if u r blind...etc." if u drive a vehicle + live in SoCal. Plz move &/or ride bus
great idea but very poor execution. the ui is hard to understand and navigate around.
Why would the application need my location.
Needs considderation for lack of call button on droid phones
I think this app is brilliant...it times to get use to great job chen....non see home...puts all the other home apps to shame...
Looks interesting but needs more explanation
Admin.
Good effort.
Decent potential, useless without Call button.
It force closed on my Sprint Hero on the very first time
Force close ugh
I've installed this on three phones now. I have five task specific eyes-free grids I switch among. I also use other launchers, but this one is my default. It's brilliantly simple and that makes it devestating useful when you're using your phone on the run.
Hello, I can't reply to Free, everything else has improved since last time I had it, fix that problem pleaseebook mobile texts with Eyes Fr
Good enough
Please add some way to navigate with the eyes free keyboard or an attached physical input device; that would be very helpful. second, can you please make it so you can turn off the startup sound, vibration feedback and proximity sensor? An all around great app though; as a blind user, I find it verry useful; a lot better than the friggin useless motoblur home app!
Using the Eyes-Free Shell as my primary home screen, apps that have been moved to SD natively on Gingerbread are not seen at boot. The work-around is to hold the back button to run the stock launcher and tap home to return to the Eyes-Free Shell. This is a 5 star app except for this little annoyance. I actually wish I could give it 4.5.
Lifting is necessary if you have more than a few app's. Results are too random.
Good.
Location widget chrashes on my IDEOS U8150, plus there's no toggle to turn GPS on and off.
New shortcuts gestures interfeer with use of back-button and other eyes-free gestures. Samsung Moment 2.1

Great for people with vision problems. Just not for me
