I was doing a phone survey and accidentally hung up. I called for a refund on a movie that wouldn't play, and you were so kind to give me a full refund on the movie. Great service, a great person that talk to me named mava, I truly appreciate the people at Google for their great service, and will always be a customer thank you. All of my films are unwatchable, the movie plays as normal then looses sound for a few seconds then the picture freezes and the sound catches up. Once the sound catches up the movie plays normally again with both picture and sound in sync. It constantly does this and has nothing to do with my connection as I have downloaded movies thinking that might the cause but it still does it. Very frustrating! I've ended up buying movies on disc just the be able to watch them but that doesn't help me much when I'm working away

I don't want this option on my device. I would like the ability to remove it as so wish. It takes up more storage than the apps I actually want. I would like room for pictures or even the ability to check my email and or banking account. These automatic apps make my phone speed so slow I can't even make a phone call. So no, I dont want these irrelevant apps.

Good app. Only problem is that you cannot permanently delete movies/TV shows from your account if you wish to no longer associate with the movie. You can only remove it from your device but it still remains on your account. Please fix and allow us to delete movies we wish to no longer have.

Good app backed by excellent servers but, for me, there are a couple of large let downs. 1. Purchases can be made even though your device won't play them due to DRM restrictions. 2. I am not interested in renting a film but cannot remove them entirely from app or search results. Telling me I can have a film for as little as £3.99 is a lie.

After spending the money to purchase tv shows, I now can't watch any of them due to an error "couldn't fetch licence". There is no solution in the help menu, restarting doesn't help and I likely won't be able to get a refund. No more Google for this girl.

2 Stars because audio (Dolby Digital+ via HDMI) cuts out for a moment occasionally on Nvidia Shield Android TV. Also because I want to let Google know that I want HDR from Google Play Movies on the Shield too. I actually like this app a lot and it is my main service for purchasing digital movies and shows.

I have been using play movies for some time. With every movie the app stops and requires me to continuously press the play button to keep it playing. I have used all of the troubleshooting help advise but nothing has worked. I know this is a defect in the app because I changed devices over a year ago and faced the same issue with my previous Samsung tablet. Very frustrating

Was good but not doesn't play properly. The sound and film.lag and go.out of sync even if downloaded and I have uninstalled it and reinstalled to get it to work just to get same problem. Tried everything I can to get it to work. Was once a good app but now its a pain to use.

The only way I cast to a GOOGLE Chromecast that loses connection every single time. Netflix and Hulu never lose connection to my Chromecasts. Go figure Google doesn't work well with Google. Also very difficult to navigate to find new movies based on genre. Or impossible? It shouldn't be so difficult to find...

I have to wait at least 2 weeks for a new episode. It's so annoying but when I find it on YouTube they add new episodes sometime. And also I've bought the season on once upon a time S7 I can't watch the episode bcuz it saying I need to buy the season even though I just bought it.

Only shows films released in French (version français). Refuses to display English versions of films. Had to torrent films instead.... You content providers don't get it. I'd have paid but no: you want my kids to watch in languages thry don't understand.

Re the roku ap, sux! I can stream netfix and hulu all day long, but this 'buffers' or something every 5 minutes. I expect alot better of Google pay per view!

I do not want this. Like lots of others would like to be able to get rid of bloat ware like this. If people are not interested then they will NOT buy anything. So we all would love to know now how to uninstall.

Why does Google charge money for watching movies? Google,please suggest me a way to uninstall this application because I just can't pay money for watching old and boring movies

That UI is hideous. I can't believe Google made it. Otherwise, it's fairly typical here, nothing you can't get anywhere else. So I will stick to Vudu on my Roku for renting movies unless GP Movies gives some other value.

I like the discounted offers you give but I can't stream or download movies anymore. If I try to download, it says "couldn't download this video". If I try to stream, it says "there is an error". I use a Gionee phone with version amigo 3.5. I've 18 hours left on a movie I paid for, what do I do now?

Not very good. Why pay for movies that you can't watch from beginning to end ? The movies selection is ok but not great. I have purchased a few movies and download them in HD using a very good WiFi connection. But frequently when I try to play them they will hang up somewhere in the middle of the movie. Very aggravating. I have followed Google's instructions to correct the problem and re-downloaded the movies only to find the same problem. So now I have purchased movies that I can not watch from beginning to end. Not happy about that !

This would be a perfect 5, if the pin to screen option was avaible, while watching movies. I never have that issue on my GS7 or tablet, only on my my childs tablet. Its pre-installed on those devices, but theres no option for it on here. Why is that? Its a pain having to go back to the movie, just because my child accidentally hit the home button or any other random button.

Update. I am STILL unable to cast saved movies from my phone to my TV with this app. Also, I am unable to download the movies I have purchased. I have contacted Google support for help but the only support they want to give is for Google Wallet? My phone will cast any other screen to my television with no problems. This app tells me I must delete the saved movie from my phone before I can cast it to my TV. I must then stream the movie from the internet to the TV. This does not do me any good if the internet is down like it was the other day.

I use Chromecast and this is the only app I have issues with. Hard to enjoy a movie when it buffers every twenty seconds. Fix this crappy app already. Update: still crappy as of Dec. 9/17

All the movies that I brought seem to run the voices and second faster then the movies its self. It's very annoying trying to watch something while thevoices aren't in sync with their mouths. Please fix please.

Don't download free episodes, they become part of your permanent library that you can never get rid of. You can remove them from a device but anytime you change or restire devices or have to delete and reinstall the app they all come back and now you can only remove two at a time from the device then have to close and reopen app for the next two. They claim for audit, tax & financial records they can never remove episodes or movies, but these are free episodes to explore if you like it or not. If you don't like it, you still have to keep looking at it over and over forever.

The binge watch feature for a purchased series, added to a watchlist, and casted to tv using chromecast does NOT work. It does not play one episode after another, and i do have the enable binge watch.box checked. Also, will you fix it so the commercials, promotions (for other series) are automatically skipped during binge watching?

I like the selection. I am irritated that I can't download movies that I purchased. I keep on getting can't fetch license. I've cleared the cache, I've restarted the phone and it won't work. How can you update an app and not fix one the major issues? Still cannot download movies I paid for!!! I see others have called for the same issue and Google can't help them either. Another update and STILL CAN'T FIX "can't fetch license" error.

Keeps disabling itself. Only way to re-enable is through the play store. Have also lost downloaded content a couple of times. Needs big improvement.

I bought movies and downloaded them at first I was able to watch them but now i cant.... it says "couldn't fetch licence, if the problem still accures try downloading it again." And I have several times!

It's all that it advertised to be ,, which says a lot because many products say they are one thing and turn out to be a real disappointment. Thanks guys,.

HORRIBLE APP, DOESN'T DO WHAT THE ONE THING IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO I tried downloading a movie I purchased for my flight, spent 2 hours troubleshooting since the video won't play at all. In the end, I rented a movie for a flight that wouldn't play... Waste of time and money! To top it all off, the timer still started even though I saw nothing!

It is currently not fit for purpose when I try to use it on my Xperia tablet. The image freezes while the sound continues to play, none of the proposed fixed listed in help made a difference. Youtube works fine.

I downloaded the app. I have a Samsung smart tv that comes with the app. I have rented 3 movies so far. Each single movie it has taken hours to watch because of the buffering every few seconds. On top of this sometimes I loose sound and sometimes it has cut off in the middle of trying to watch a movie saying error 317. It is not my phone, it is not my tv. I tried calling google support to get a rental company....what? Why an I paying for movies to watch and I have this much trouble? Also the last movie I tried to watch I paid 6.98 for. It took me 2 days to watch it all in between the buffering, errors and no sound. Why do companies make such apps and people purchase from these apps that are no good? Is there something I'm doing wrong here? If the app continues to have problems no one is going to want it. Please someone from support help me with this or refund me for my purchases. I would rather rent a movie or buy a DVD to watch and pay for than pay google for something that is no good.

Please link sets of movies together in the library, instead of just alphabetical, as if it's a dusty shelf of cinema reels from the 1920s. Although to be honest a graphic like that would be better than the really boring row of images of the DVD cases. Digital media! Come on people where's your imagination?

Ok but when using chrome cast it doesn't perform well. Like it does not automatically play next TV episode. Really frustrating. Or if you pause it on Chromecast it stops casting. Being generous by giving it 3 *

Samsung TV linking doesn't work. tried to type on manual code but infinite spinner kept appearing on the app. Also quite laggy compared to other streaming apps. Chromecast integration is pretty seamless though.

Works ok but there's definitely room for improvement. Several things that needs to be fixed, like being able to delete videos from my library. If my collection is a virtual library, then I should be able to get rid of media I don't want anymore, just like a physical collection or even the Google Play Music. Another thing I can't understand is why it takes a very long time to download videos onto my device. The "Prepare to Download" message sticks around a long time.

I get a lot of joy and enjoyment from this app. Most of my watching is through here. When using chromecast it can take sometimes several minutes for the next episode to play. That's super annoying.

Paid for a movie and then there was a pop up saying error couldn't connect to server & so I tried paying again, hence loosing money the second time. Will I get reimbursement?

Auto play doesn't seem to work on Chromecast. Using this app with Chromecast is inconsistent and buggy. Android 8 Pixel XL

User interface suck big time. Play movie fine though. Doesn't buf enough when you start a movie. Couple seconds our minutes often are sub SD quality. Need to paused it too fix. Home movie list navigation is terrible. Browse movies from left to right without indication of are far you are. The same list often have duplicate that lead you to believe you rolled over the list. The absolute worst is when you select a movie in the home page to look at a movie details. When you go back to the list, it reset the position of the list and need to scroll the list back to where you were. When will the implement the tap to fast forward like the YouTube app. Using the glider control to find a scene is very imprecise the smaller the screen and longer the movie are.

Here I am, chilling in my bed trying to watch a movie on my chromecast. I usually watch Netflix but this time the movie I want isn't there. Can't use Prime Video cause they don't want to work with Chromecast. So I try to use my already-installed-without-my-consent app, Google Play Movies & TV. And one of the most anoying phrases of the century appears: This app is not available in your country. In the United States of 'Merica. Not available. What. The. Hell. Blockbuster doesn't exist. What the hell am I supposed to do now?
