Google Trips - Travel Planner

Cannot import saved locations on Google Map into Trip. Trip also wants to keep giving me its pre-planned stock day plans. Cannot incorporate and plan for transportation with this app. Very limited food suggestions. Cannot create full and useful itineraries that includes MY saved places (attractions or not), food stops, transportation plans.

Email automation isn't perfect it doesn't read emails and attachments properly example pdf's. Also it will not read any itinerary for day planning also create a customise plan for 5 or 1 day is like to play a basketball game 4 inch area. Magicwand is hack and start from here shows "unable to create plan". Making an icon is quite impressive but it should work in proper way.

Made reservations. Got the confirmations sent to my Gmail. Nothing. No sign of the bookings in Google Trips. Tell me again what this is supposed to be doing for me? (looks like I still need to keep my TripCase account) Update : it has now confused the flight details of two different trips. Uninstalling. I'll stick to TripCase, thanks.

Superb app!! Puts all your departure & return flights by city and even hotel reservations together with their summary in beautiful tabs along with their respective email links as well. You no more need to search different emails or take printouts to put all your itineraries together. Just tap the tabs and voila!! One of the best part is, it even puts all the different PNR's together if the flight is same and summarises all the Traveller's name with all their different PNR's... now that's a WOW! Then, why still the 4 star only ?? Well, surprisingly all the summary and tabs are almost perfectly displaying all the infos very correctly but somehow the different email links are opening the same emails in few cases. ... so it still needs some fine tuning. But undoubtedly very very helpful!! Amazing Google, thanks for making life easier.

This app is supposed to automatically get info from gmail. Good only for flights but it doesn't download train trips or Airbnb reservations although it's all in my gmail. It shows 5 year old trips but can't see eurostar reservation in my gmail. Useless! After last update Airbnb bookings which I had to add manually disappeared! What else can you do wrong, google?

Very basic. Dissapointed. If the app didn't read an email correctly you cannot add a new trip. The app cannot read all emails from airlines, just a few. The hotels reservations are also not recognized, only major chains.

Find it very frustrating that it deleted a trip when I tried to add an email to an existing trip. And now it won't recognize any of those trip related emails from Inbox. Will have to add all of it manually

It have good information but It is having trouble with the city's. I am in Berlin and it shows me info of Amsterdam. Also I would like to change the steps in the daily plan that I made and I can't. And I can't see all the reviews.

The auto-recognizing reservation feature is decent, but the day planner is garbage. It kept auto-populating places as suggestions, wasn't clear if you could put activities for a specific day, and you can't add places it doesn't recognize, which basically makes it worthless as an itinerary/trip planner.

Please add personal itinerary. Add functionality to combine plan for multiple cities. Example: Traveling to San Francisco and would like to add a day trip to Napa to visit wineries. Currently you have to add a destination and can not combine. It's also difficult to search places when do add a destination. Show reservation or appointment times for places you have to be.

Got a rude shock today, when my flight info was showing in reversed order. The app read it from a jet airways confirmation mail, it was showing the date correctly but showing return flight data on departure date. It had previously shown right data from this airlines and others.

I just started using it. So far im having trouble adding stops on my map. It seems if i want to go somewhere that isnt on the list of attractions but is on the map, i cant just tap on it and "pin it" because it doesnt have the blue dot next to it. Also it asks where i want to start when planning day trip. I tried to start from my motel but since my motel isnt one on the list, i cant start from there. Unless im doing it wrong, these features would be very helpful. Like i said, i just started using this app. I trust All Google, so hopefully i figure this out. I'd hate to have to uninstall and use another app. Or no app. Just pen and paper. Google apps have NEVER let me down. Hopefully this wont be the 1st. I need this to work out!

The idea for this app was great but needs more. It would be extremely useful to add notes and information manually to my trip. Even photos! Also edit details and add more destinations and attractions. If you fix it a bit I think your app will be the best.

Reading the other reviews of this app has made me realize that it's not fantastic but it is pretty good at least to me. Since it's connected to Google maps I find it extremely easy to find places that I want to visit and I make my own day plans (the actual day plan feature isn't that great) the need to know part of the app is also really helpful too. I'm not that tech/trip savvy but I love Google so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I'm impressed. You know your places as per where the locals go, Poblacion is the newest and hippest place In Makati Manila and not many people know about it yet but you are updated! Love it. Also I can use the app offline is a big plus. I would just love to add a a folder or something where I can keep my travel documents safe like a photo of my passport etc and to incorporate other email providers as well apart from Gmail.

It keeps adding deleted trip-related emails, with old/changed reservations, that I cleared from Trash. Then, it won't allow me to remove it from the itinerary. Completely useless.

App generally works well in pulling data from my email. Easy to use and you can build a mini itinerary using this app. App would be even better if Google incorporates Google flights into this app. All your travel needs in one if that happens

Need a lot more functionality to be useful. Needs to be able to search for restaurants and attractions, need to be able to create and update personalized day trips. I guess I'm staying with TripIt

Quite useless if you cannot create your own itinerary. It won't let me start at my AirBnB address, and won't let me create stops at my selected restaurants.

Fantastic app. It's great that it automatically collates info on your trip right out of Gmail. The city areas are excellent - plenty of categories to cover anything you'd need, and lots of info within.

Importing more complicated trips from Gmail usually requires editing to get it right. Downloading locations for offline use fails on my device.

Need to be able to create your own customizable day plan based on your saved places. Also you should be able to create an itinerary based on the specific dates you are going to be there like Trip Advisor. Instead of save to Monday, Tuesday.... etc

Only good for entering flights. Useless for actives or daily planning. Just use Google sheets.

Good, but the automatic trip creation does not always work properly. Would be nice to be able to merge trips or manually adjust them like competing apps allow.

Most of the features aren't too useful, there are individual apps or even the trip advisor app that are most useful

Nice app very useful , could be improved with directions incorporated (ex how long it takes to get there and if there are trains or busses)

Installed to create a bike route home, because using Google maps to do so in a web browser on my phone made me nearly break the thing out of frustration. This app won't even let me bring up my own address. Worse than useless

It doesn't interface with maps & navigation. Don't have detailed travel information on location.

Gets 4 stars, will get 5 if you add Google Maps integration. I always make custom maps of sights, restaurants, things to do. This app should pull from there and populate...

Installed on new Motor E4 and it just sits there spinning at me after clicking Get Started.

Didn't work offline although the city had been downloaded.

Allow us to create or edit our own day plans and places. Not just what's in the map.

The reason I downloaded it was for a cruise I'm going on. It doesn't support cruises that I can see.

Needs better collaboration functions for easy sharing and editing of trips across multiple travellers

Bloated app - over Half a GB in size!!! Uses way too much storage memory.

Completely useless without all the Google Maps POIs.

This app is useful app but can be ttered by add hotel name/location for start and finish of one plan, also suggestion of bus/metro/... for reach to any point..and weather of days

This looks really helpful. I can explore the region/area and create itineraries for day trips. Very motivational for planning ahead of time.

A nice app which gathers details of air travel from gmail and beautifully and colorfully displays them. I needed an app to organise my travel and keep a record.

I love how this app reads my stared places in Google maps
