Data Transfer Tool for Android
Crapped out between LG G5 and Pixel 2 XL. Had to use the Verizon transfer tool.
Great tool, my new Pixel2 was ready to use in no time with all my data and settings from Pixel
No instructions. Nothing happened. Sort of pointless
Worked flawlessly and quick if I may add, having to transfer my content from the Pixel to the Pixel 2 XL
Did not manage to copy messages from S6 Edge
Worked without any issues from V20 to Pixel 2 XL. It was fast too!!
"Nexus" in the description, eh? How long were the OG Pixels Nexuses?
Nice copy from another Android non Google Device to Pixel 2XL
Transferred pretty much everything from Galaxy S6 to Pixel 2.
Worked as advertised no problem moving from the Pixel XL to Pixel 2 XL
Works as advertised great time saver.
It's really good
Works fast. Works well.
I have tired copying from Pixel XL to Pixel 2 XL and even between two Pixel 2 XLs. It never copies app info phone history or really hardly anything else. They all say fail. Then you have to enter passwords again for all accounts and I have 5. It does not have the income or dashboard info. Pretty much does not help at all
Under read more it says. This app will be automatically installed. Do not installed this app. Which is it update or disable it. Confused with the statement.
It transferred my account and some of the settings, but crashed and didn't get some of the settings or any of my data from my Nexus 6. I wish it would let me retry.
This didn't work too well for me. I tried it twice and it didn't copy my apps over either time. Needs hella work.
It worked well for my transfer from 6p to Pixel 2XL. I still had some work to do like signing in to apps & services and resetting app settings and info. Not surprised that it didn't install non-play apps from Amazon.
Didn't transfer from pixel to pixel 2 completely. Would have been better off doing it restoring the online backup
Failed sync from usb-c oem cables to 8.0.0 Nexus5. 9 hours later and manually backing up/transferring data/apps from old phone.
Not impressed. Crashed after grabbing photos and little else. Un-user friendly.
This app makes transferring content a smooth experience. It was really easy to use, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just purchased a new phone and is looking for a solution on transferring from iPhone/Android to an new Android phone.
Nexus 6 to Pixel 2 XL worked correctly. It should be possible to copy the data on the phone to another via the internet (copy to and from the cloud), rather than over USB.
Failed the first time and can't run later. Useless
Transferred all 168 apps from my Galaxy Note 5 to my Pixel 2 but none of the app data/settings. None. :(
Unsure if you need to transfer Gmail or calendar apps over. .
Failed and had to reset phone again to start over.
When I transferred from my old pixel to my new pixel 2 the majority of my settings did not transfer. I would of been better off doing it manually..
Didn't transfer my apps. VERY disappointing!
Copied pictures, music, txt messages and apps/folders but was a bust on app passwords etc. Still a lot to learn from the 2004 Palm Treo
Transfered everything but only some text messages not all of them . No the missing messages did not contain videos or pictures
Took about five minutes to "transfer" the data. Note that it doesn't save logins, or really any app data besides text messages.
Transferred my Google accounts out of order. Apparently your "first" Google account is kind of a default and this app does not allow you to specify which account is first. Some apps will only work well with this default account. I ended up performing a factory reset and transferring everything manually.
It's not great doesn't do anything different from what just downloading from cloud would. I don't save much to my phone so didn't see a huge reward. It didn't sync the app data so still had to sign into and setup all the apps
Transfers a good amount of old content. Unfortunately, app info is not one of them. Not quite as good as Samsung Smart Switch, since that one will practically make a carbon copy of your old phone.
Worked great for my Nexus 6P to Pixel 2 XL. Did a good amount of data. Transfer things I not expect, which is a good thing.
Worked Great for me when copying from my Pixel to my Pixel 2 xl! Had my phone all set up pretty much just the way I like it in about 5 minutes! Definitely one of my favorite features of pixel devices!
This failed for me moving from Pixel XL to Pixel 2 XL. None of my WiFi networks restored, no call history, no texts, etc. I don't care about call history or texts, I use Allo for most messaging, but I'm upset about my dozens of WiFi networks.
Useless. When I first started my phone it prompted me to transfer my data. My other phones battery died in the middle of the transfer. Now there's no way to resume after battery is charged.

It didn't work between pixel 2xl and Nexus 6
