Maps - Navigation & Transit

No doubt but this is a great app. However it has a number of downsides. Navigation drains my battery like nothing else and it just does not work well while offline There are other map apps such as Here we Go and Waze. These aren't supported by monopoly power and in some ways better. Waze has good social media aspects and Here We Go has much better offline navigation.

My Google maps app worked fine, navigating as I drive but since November it doesn't do that anymore, I have to restart the app a few times before it does, I have reinstalled it a few times, I checked the settings to see if it's different to my ipad and it's not. It doesn't pick up the location accurately either.

Google Maps is simply the go-to navigation app. There's no need to use any other one, since it's all here. It can help you find good places to go, whether it be for food, gas, or anything else, it gives you reviews about them, and then it gives you fantastic and efficient navigation to your destination. The user interface is big and keeps all of the important stuff front and center, so that it isn't too confusing to glance at it while driving. It's also great at constantly monitoring the route and suggesting better ones when traffic conditions change. If I could, I would add only one detail - since Google owns Waze too, it'd be nice if the alerts from Waze also showed up in Google Maps.

It's the best map app but now It's not give alternate routes for destination that have many way to go .and we need to show the speed on the screen and its nice if see the speed limit.

Great, but a simple state-wide offline pack (like in Here Maps) is painfully missing... the present offline functionality is too limited.

Great app Keep working on the cycling directions though. Love the Your Places, Lists feature, just need to include the ability to specify different icons - or different coloured icons for each list please.

Need to have more than 10 stops routing and and optimization; need to have the option not to use highway; need to be able to remove mutliple labels at once like starred place; need to be able to select starred places instead of dragging the map to select the starred places for destinations

Route changes as we driving follow exactly way it pointed and lead users using wrong direction. Happened recently.

The best of its kind. More and more accurate. Only when there are multilevels road it does not know which one you are. Waiting gallileo for more precision

In my phone the maps for adlabs imagica it was showing 3hrs.but in my friends phone it was showing 2 hrs.from mumbai.why this difference.both of the phones were android.i am using one plus 5t amd friends phone was moto g4

Have used this app since day one, and it rarely lets me down. Easily 5 stars ????

It's very hard to customize your saved address and move them in order like in Waze. And you shouldn't have to go through hoops just to tap and see your next turn by turn directions. Make your address larger in your display, especially for night driving.

You only need to place a button called "park here" and this will become close to perfect.

The App Is Good But The UI Is A Little Slower Than Before ????

This app is very much useful to me I love this app thanks you very much.

Only problem is app won't automatically update thru play store. Always fails. I have to go to app to get it to update.

Needs to add alerts like Waze does and stop pestering people to take photos of Lidl, etc

I didn't find Mario Option in my Smartphone version 9.73.1

Please add function how to solve if we decide to go above or bottom road at the same way. Always to go true way if straight, right or left..

Without this app a new person face difficulty to go for a new place

Works well. Would love this app to have a GPS speedometer function for checking actual speed while driving
