Its doesn't let me watch DVR stuffed

I really enjoy watching television at home on my 60" tv. It would be even better if I didn't have to stay home to watch TV on my phone/tablet. All channels do not offer a app to download.. Also could use a better sports package. Phone full of apps.

I'm stunned that the app still doesn't support landscape on my tablet after several updates. This is a real pain and should not have been removed. There is no way this enhances the user experience, as your comments have said. Please fix this. Down to one star.

Most of the app works well and functions as advertised. For some reason, I can't watch any content on the app even when conntected to my wifi. Instead, pressing play on the app just changes the channel on my tv box.

Decent app, nothing to write home about. Coming from Timewarner, I thought their app was much better + Roku Channel. Why can't we cast from Fiber TV App to a Chromecast on our home network?

Needs the ability to watch the DVR.

Haven't had a day down on internet. Speeds incredible, no throttling for heavy use; feel very lucky to have it. Fiber TV beats out close competitors on price and no scammy promotions. Wish I could play recorded content offsite with app. Were it I alone, I'd drop everything but an antenna and software, plus rentals & maybe Netflix. You'll need to add versatile playback to compete, though, Google, otherwise why bother? (So many options there.) OK, sports-but that's a good time to see friends anyway.

I absolutely HATE Google Fiber and all associated with it! The internet SUCKS, we've been without cable for nearly 2 weeks and it was suggested that I use this app that ALSO SUCKS! I cant watch tv, I cant stream tv like most other providers and i cant even watch DVR content on my mobile device (based on other posts, i wouldn't know since NOTHING ELSE WORKS!) and ive missed several shows and events like the Cubs World Series, movies and other live events! To anyone considering, GO WITH XFINITY OR AT&T!

Like others have stated, I can't watch my DVR content on mobile devices and after this last update the app guide doesn't auto rotate. Would love to able to watch DVR'd programs.

Love my google fiber but cant understand why we cant stream away from the home network other cable company's allow that no reason why it cant be done with the biggest tech company in the world at least work on letting your customers watch what is recorded on there dvr away from home

Works great simple to use

No streaming from DVR. Channel guide will revert to portrait with new update (no landscape). Distracting when switching from media to guide. Also a previous channel button/option would be useful. Look forward to future improvements.

I use a tablet in a case designed for landscape orientation, so the removal of the landscape rotation means I have to hold my tablet awkwardly in portrait or read sideways. Please fix this!

In a previous version you could navigate netflix (not great but usable). In the new app you cannot do anything with youtube or netflix which is a shame.

Need landscape back. Please fix.

Expected much more from Google. Such as having the ability to watch TV on my phone using this app. Other cable companies offer not sure why Google fell short.

I think we should be connected to any wifi to watch TV not just ours but other than that it's good

Can't watch your DVR recordings or On Demand shows on your mobile device... Seems pointless to have this app at all unfortunately.

The app is only good for recording on the DVR. If you want to watch TV on the app you can't do that. If you click the other TVs in the house you will change the television while somebody else is watching it. I had Time Warner Cable before I moved to Google Fiber and I was able to watch on demand and live TV directly from the app. Since I moved to Google Fiber and try using the app it's been a disappointment. I would like to give Google Fiber a chance Google Fiber needs to up their technology to keep up with the other competitors.

The inability to watch programming away from the home Wi-Fi makes this app kind of pointless. I know for a fact that AT&T and DirecTV both have that capability.

Still lacks a few features that competitors offer but getting much better. I still can't believe they don't offer a version for the Android TV platform to turn it into a cable box.

Most recent upgrade is complete crap. In order to access app you have to sign in using account holder cridentials, providing full access to account holders information resulting in loss of all privacy for said account holder.

I love the app when it lets me cast from all connected tv's in my house. It randomly stops letting me from the main tv in use.

How much time to arrive in India please reply

I only give 3, not due to lack of service on the internet or tv because im very satisfied with those, but yet i was looking forward to this app having a streaming feature instead of relying on Wi-Fi services to watch. I switched from Dish to Google and the one thing they did pusue was live streaming on their Dish Network app. I will change to 5 stars if the app makes futuristic changes. Everything else is GREAT though!

Can you please tell us WHY you still can't cast from the app to a GOOGLE Chromecast? I don't want to hear that you are working on it. Please just say you aren't allowed to have that feature or something. Same goes for why you can't watch tv away from your home network? I am not going to submit these obvious features to any site you link, by the way. Just answer the questions.

So it's been almost four months since the update that removed landscape. Three updates since then. And is landscape back? No! Are you seriously telling me that Google can't figure out how to implement landscape after almost four months? Freaking Google? The maintainers of Android can't figure it out? Pathetic.

I had DirecTV for 20+yrs. I also had DirecTV to go. I could watch pretty much anything I wanted to on the go without having to be connected to my own WiFi. It's 3017. All tv apps should be that way. I can watch TV at home so it makes little to no sense to download the app to watch in my own house. Please update this app so I can watch full content away from my home on any WiFi and/or using my own mobile data. Thanks. Will give a higher rating once the app is brought up to par. Other than that I love my Google fiber service. Very good

Whatever you guys just updated has just messed up everything in my network. My network won't even recognize that I'm at home and keeps saying it can only playback while connected to my home network (which I already am connected to.) Come on. You guys are Google I expected higher standards.

I don't understand, why if you purchased Show time from the play store, why you can't merge it with your fiber account. Also, why don't you guys offer the same discount price other carriers offer for premium services (HBO-Cinemas-Starz-Showtime)

I moved to Google fiber from twc. TWC was nothing to rave about, but at least I could watch some of the TV content (for which I pay a lot money) while away from home. Not the case with fiber TV. You have to be on your home WiFi network. Worthless. I expected more from a company like Google. Get with the freaking program.

This app is junk. Freezes on my tablet after a few minutes, guide is permanently locked to portrait mode, and no ability to watch recorded programs, or watch away from home. Downloading and juggling 70+ TV Everywhere apps is not a viable alternative. And posting to the black hole known as the "Ideas" forum is a waste of time.

I have not found a recorded show that can be played on my android even when I am right next to the fiber tv box. What does "watch your favorite entertainment from your mobile device" actually mean?

Before the app was updated I used to be able to easily switch what I was watching to another TV. Now I can't figure it out most of the time. Please explain or make it easier!

I like the app. You can watch the DVD and live TV. There are a few stations that cannot be viewed live but I can live with that for now.

When will Google ever decide to invest some of these ideas in Alexandria Louisiana

This app lacks basically two things. 1. Can't view shows while not on the Google Fiber network. AT&T Uverse and Time Warner both have this functionality and Google Fiber app doesn't. Have kids that we use to keep entertained using the competition apps while we were away from home, can't do that with Google Fiber app. 2. Only my account works with Google Fiber. I don't want to put my account on everyone's tablet in the house so they can watch TV on their tablets. Too bad there isn't a way to add addi
