Google Apps Lookup for Android
Lookup supports Android versions 2.1 - 2.3.x devices and requires the "Shared Contacts" feature enabled by the organization administrator in the Google Apps Control Panel. Android version 3.0 and above has the same functionality built-in, so you won't need to use this app.
I started using alot of google apps, now I started to understand more.
not tried as one knows when on budget mode take it as given and improve to improve
You people need to learn to read you need a business or education gmail accout to use this its built more around business than end user
Does what it says. Worked for my google apps ".edu" address.
Nice tool but prefer cloud colleague from cloud technology solutions
Not for dumb people it will not work. Only works if you have a business email server with google, not just gmail. Works great!
This apps is not compatible for ics so please release update..
Used to work Keep getting error stating that the connection failed.
Does exactly what it needs to do, people who give low ratings need to read the description first.
...or buggy? Depends on your point of view. Either way, like many of Google's apps, this is a poor implementation of a good idea. Chooses an odd subset of profile data to display here, doesn't propagate labels (e.g. 'Work fax' shows as 'other' etc), can't export to contacts and so on.
Gwht nicht mir mird gesagt ich hab keinen google acc obwohl ivh einen habe.
Doesn't work
Acts like my google account doesn't exist.
It keeps saying I need to sybc Google app. But I actually already have... Doesn't work :(
sir when i opened this app .saying that add a google app account .i can not understood how i.created google app account .plz help me .i want to used it.
Doesn't have contact saving/download to phone contacts. Also would be cool to have ringing lookup
Doesn't recognize my Google-Account.
Says need to have a Google Apps account setup. But I do. :-(
Not working ,it says that i have not a valid mail address.
Vaffanculo cialtro ni
does the trick. Now I can lookup anyone in my company on the go.
Hi On Samsung Galaxy S 2, it cannot find the existing Google account used for syncing all items on your google account. You cannot re-add it as it already exists....just can't use it.
Worked great until I got a new droidx. Now searches but looks as though no results come up. You can click a blank space to show a contact
So many reviewers seem to have no idea that they do not have a Google Apps for Education or Business account... NOT FOR GMAIL. The one star reviews are unwarranted.
This only gives you a search and not a scrollable list. If you used an alt name for a phone (pager for example) all you see is "Other". For my company that means most people have 2 or 3 entries listed as "Other" with no way to tell them apart. Also shows no email aliases which my company uses. Overall... a nice start. I will be watching thisto see if it will become something useful before we move to android 4.x
Love it! Works fantastically on my HTC Thunderbolt. I was missing this functionality with my corporate mail. This is only for folks who desire the capability to look up contacts within a professional organization. That is, an organization where Google hosts the email services. My request to Google is to add an option to save the contact information to my address book.
Will not connect! Says no google account is synced on my phone, yet all other google apps work and sync just fine.
Has a good UI but should recognise people who you already have on your phone and intergrate the two
It simple is perfect for my Corporate Address book lookup on my cell phone. Great for Google Apps for Business!!! 5 stars
To the idiots posting low ratings...this is not for gmail accounts, you need a Google Apps account for Businesses.
I can perform searches but as a result I get only the phone numbers: no address, no email, no "+ add to contact button" Of course I can see address and email in the Contacts interface ... any idea?
On 4 different Motorola Droid Pros this only shows black on black text in the selection results screen. If you tap on a line, it then will show the contact info. On Motorola Droid Pro with 3.4.4 Market it looks correct.
Lookup / search feature works great. Con - needs to be able to add to My Contacts / address book. Would also be good if intergrated in other apps.
Use this to search my school directory. Only wish I could add contacts to my address book.
If my company doesn't support it, I shouldn't get a "network error" as if my WiFi is the problem.
It is only available for education our businesses users.read the Desc.
This app really comes in handy for looking up people at work. Only wish my our Admin listed more than just name and email.
Doesn't work. Try to add sync account but doesn't build it into the phone to select from.
Does what it says, though I wish it had a directory too. Also this is not for personal Gmail accounts, research google apps before reviewing.

Keep saying that I need to add a Google application account, but I already have one on my phone.
