Google Sheets for Android
Sheets is an incredible tool, but lacking in some obvious features. For instance, users should have an option to adjust margins; here should be optional ruler bars, vertical and horizontal; users should be able to upload images from the mobile app; and how t the heck is anyone supposed to know that 96 pixels is approximately one inch when adjusting heights and widths? I truly appreciate the "one-stop-shopping" Google brings to the table with Drive, enabling me to seamless flow between my personal and my business accounts with ease, great-interconnectivity, and at no cost. It's a shame that I should ever have to use another spreadsheet application for something as simple as including a photo. (*Note: I'm aware of the IMAGE function; it sucks. I'm unable to use it for images uploaded to my Drive, even when I have a shareable link. And no real image-formatting tools, anyway.)
"Bug fixes and performance improvements" - sounds tasty. I've heard that somewhere before??? Oh yeah, every Google related app uses this completely lame excuse for a change log when they're to lazy to actually write a change log that might be useful for the users.
Great - I wish it had two features though...a way to add sheets to your phone's homepage quickly (like Maps does) and the ability to drag styles and formats down through columns.
Can't give a higher compliment than "it just works". It syncs to my Google Drive account so there's no awkwardness like with "Handoff" on the Mac. iCloud and Numbers is a failed product, despite Apple having full control over the experience, compared to Google Drive and Sheets, where they only control Android and Google Chrome and are beholden to public standards in both places.
Awesome if you're needing a cloud based solution to store pretty much anything. I haven't had to use Microsoft office in years due this beautiful, free app. Thanks Google!
I have near-complete format portability of my text, numeric, emoji, photo, spreadsheet, message and link data. I can dictate voice, text and data into files, and I can freely copy, cut, paste and intermingle all of these. I save my file data into the Google Cloud. Once saved, I can access and modify that data from anywhere that I can connect to the cloud, including my cell phone! And I can share it all with others. That's freedom! Five thumbs up! ????
Google sheets is great for personal use and business. I can share inventory, pricing, etc, with whom ever I choose and can see updates as they happen.
There is a huge battery drain with the most recent update. I kept force closing. It would open up and continue draining my battery.
This has got to be the best mobile spreadsheet out there. The mobile experience is almost as good as using a desktop machine. Great product!
Cell Phone Use.. I have large screen and large fingers. Able to create and fill-in all needed data, Alpha and Numerical. App works good.
editor covers all the screen and therefore the cells being edited when editing in horizontal orientation on xiaomi redmi note 4. otherwise it works good.
After the recent update on my phone after I off the application it will still pop up
While, of course, it's not as comprehensive as a computer program, it does everything that I need to do on my phone.
I've converted a lot of my Excel documents over to this. Haven't had any issues
Have system UI problem on Moto c puls in android version 7. Google peasle solve this.
Great app. Mimics Excel well. Wish it had ability to expand and collapse grouped rows and columns.
Had Sheets app in my tablet and using it, today the app has completely deleted it's self ARGHHH
Great for everything I need which is only a monthly budget and income sheet with projected month to month savings before and after bills. I also use to calculate my macros and another sheet just for dslr camera lens focal lengths in regard to distance from subject.
Moment kept in one spot in time is this critically controlling or a hand that we just haven't seen Reached
A good selection of tools. Unlike with MS Excel, it is easy for the user to come to grips with the whole arrange of tool menus. Only rarely I miss a specific funtionality. An example: the ability to extract and refresh a value from a webpage. Otherwise *****
I think it is very deceiving to market an app as "free" when in order to either edit or save, in essence to actually use it, you have to buy a subscription for 7 dollars a month. That's not free.
It might not have all the functionality of excel but it is so much more convenient to use and share across multiple devices. I'm a real Google docs fan!
Functional and streamlined, I'd say its perfect for the mobile world.
Awesome app! Solves problems to view and edit excel files on android mobiles
I am not really happy about the dropdown list. It takes more than 15 seconds to update each time.
Able to access my sheets for work from anywhere, incredibly helpful and no issues whatsoever in the app.
Good app for planning together or teaching someone how to use office tools.
Crashes all the time! Text labels missing from bubble charts.
Wish it could open files with passwords. Wish autosave could be turned off.
Don't like the fact that it is dependant on google drive. But fir the rest it works very well.
While not good for heavy use, still a good app with good performance.
and another "not optimised for device"
I'd like to be able to select cells from another tab as part of a formula on a different tab like I can on a PC.
Some functions do not work properly
Cannot open password protected files
DO NOT PROVIDE CONTINOUS NUMARIC DATA ENTRY JUST LIKE EXCEL DO. Nice app but there is something you should be focus on sheet is related to numaric data there should be a numaric key pad for touch screen devices. Like Excel have. It is also have but not good enough. When we are enrting numaric data by numaric using numaric keybpad after entrig one digit it goes back to alfabaric keypad. Do not provide continous numaric input
Really awesome
EZ way to keep up to speed on all devises!
Your files are captive in Google Drive if you don't have an Internet-connected PC in addition to a mobile device, although you can work offline and synchronize across devices. The UI is poor and functionality is not 100%, but it's robust.

In the latest version of sheets for Android, when I select a specific range of data to include in a new chart, sheets ignores my selection and generates a chart based on random data within the spreadsheet. Clearly an error or bug and a deviation from previous versions. I have existing spreadsheets with properly formated charts and when I edit the chart to change the format, sheets pulls the data from a completely different range within the sheet. Very frustrating and makes charts and graphs completely useless!
