Google Wifi for Android
Setup in a couple mins. Wifi signal is blazing fast on all 3 floors of my house now. Also my hard line speeds off a wifi pod are as fast as supposed to be. Couldn't ask for a better product. Worth every penny
Crashed during initial setup when adding my third hotspot. Please make a local/web version of this that I can access from a computer! Otherwise, this is a really nice home network environment.
With the exception of a few not-so-well thought out UI decisions, such as splitting Port Forwarding control into two separate submenus, Google Wifi gives you clear and comprehensive command of everything going on behind the scenes. Wish it had native integration with IFTTT and Tasked, but those are just pipe dreams.
Won't let me set up without an internet connection. I just want it for local off-grid connectivity (for now).
Absolute game changing for the wifi availability in my house. I freaking love it and this app is so easy to use.
The basic router's functionality - mac address filtering is not available. It's a shame.
Very easy to setup and administer. Simple and perfect for your average home user.
A user friendly app for a great product.
Easy to use, no frills. Works remotely as well.
Only says Looking for your Device Worst app by google
I am using a Xperia so it's too good For me
Works great simple, clean UI
I like it. Easy to use. Love the google Wi-Fi.
Simple, easy to use.
Google WiFi is supporting the application well.
It is really nice.

Another poor network product from google. Just like Chrome cast, very unreliable. Ignore the so called reviewer expert journalism. This wifi product requires each station to be connected to the master hence it does not extend your WiFi it just broadens it. Returned next day for refund. Home plugs better job.
Very clean and streamlined. Does everything it's suposed to do, very well. One small gripe would be that it takes a while to show the firmware changes on the app after they've been applied to the WiFi points
Needs a way to force 5ghz connection with Android Nougat (that removed it's 5ghz preference).. the 2.4ghz signal is stronger if a wall is in the way, but noise from non ip devices makes it slower than 56k dialup. An advance setting to use different names for the two frequencies would make this easy, as it is I feal like I've massively overpaid for these devices.
Always says I'm not connected to the internet, yet I have service.... So I can't set up family or guest Wi-Fi thru the OnHub device. I've factory reset a number of times and still having the same issue.
(Nearly) painlessly solved my Wi-Fi issues. The Good: Very easy to set up. Essentially plug and play. Accepts wired gigabit connection to router, and between access points. Allows custom DNS resolvers. Use your ISPs, Google's, one on your network, or whatever one you want. Does port forwarding. Does DNS reservation. The Not So Good: Requires internet. You can't set it up without internet access, and it's not clear to me right now if my modem went out if I would still be able to access resources inside my network. No web config. You can only use the app to configure the system. Configurable from WAN. You can change your network from the internet. This has never been a good idea, and there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent this. Upnp turned on by default. You can shut it off, but it really should just be off unless you know you need it. Only 2 wired ports (actually only 1, since you'll probably already be using one to wire it directly. You will need a switch if you use wired devices. Overall, this is a good value in my humble opinion. I've tried Power line devices, ddwrt repeaters, and several WiFi routers, all with spotty results. This system has been rock solid for several weeks.
One glaring problem that needs to be fixed When you do a speed test it does not tell you your speed if it's over 200 it just says over 200 I'm paying for $300 and I want to see if that's the speed that I'm getting seems like an easy fix to tell you your exact speed. Same for upload speed. Says over 20 rather than telling me my exact speed
Solved all our home coverage issues by seeing up a mesh network. Easy to setup and manage. If you have weak coverage in parts if your home, this should resolve them.
Love this product. Very easy to setup and for the first time im actually getting the speeds im paying for if not faster. Very happy with this product and have showed my friends and they have bought one too.
The ability to hard wire remote access point sold me. While I am still getting used to not having a browser interface from my PC this app is working great and I have no complaints.
Another excellent product. Works perfectly and allows great remote admin and control. Got chromecasts and now google wifi boosters all over the place and working flawlessly - loving it.
I switched from the Apple Airport Extreme to Google Wifi and do I ever wish I had switched sooner. I actually get the speed I pay for, there are no dead zones in my house and it is easy to setup and manage. And now that I can install Google Play apps on my Chromebook, I can manage my network anywhere!
A still very-much-in-progress app in terms of UI, functionality and features. It's merely OK. That being said, I'm gonna try to hang in there and stick with it...
At last you can see, understand and control your WiFi with useful relevant information. And it just works. Great for non technical users
Seriously? IPv6 is more important then bridging with mesh? The percentage of IPv6 users is so much smaller than people who want to integrate google WiFi with their existing network infrastructure. Priority much?
The app and it's UI is surprisingly good and the mesh test is very helpful. Wish to have this earlier replacing my airport extreme.
Overall it's good but a widget and the option to use/review more detailed analytics would be appreciated.
One of the easiest routers to use. The ability to pause your children's devices is awesome!
does not work on galaxy s8. can't find devices
Great for my small 1200sqft house, needed only one unit. Most uptime of any router I've used and it's easier to manage

Can you please add a feature in app for separate 5 ghz channel as my device is 5 ghz dual band but it always connect in 2.5 ghz mode only for few seconds it comes in 5 ghz then gone. The speed in 5ghz goes to 100 Mbps however the speed on 2.5 ghz band stuck maximum at 50 Mbps.
