About DemAlert
Democracy Alert (also DemAlert App) is an innovative smartphone/tablet application designed to identify and map breaches of democratic values in Europe, but also point out democratic progress. The application monitors the situation concerning democratic values and civil liberties, giving users the opportunity to report any breach they witness. All so-called DemAlerts will be collected, organised and visualized through the application, mainly through the hashtag #DemAlert.

Still bugs a little though. Seems to be tough to list all details of alerts outside Belgium (ie. Ireland, Spain, UK). Only a launch phase issue?

This user friendly simple app let's you pinpoint any breaches of democracy in your area and allows you to mobilise am action. I think it's a great way to make people engage in politics locally

I don't have a Twitter or Facebook account so I cannot login and have access to the full functionalities of the app. How about allowing the creation of a username? Or maybe allowing the login through Google? (I am really looking forward to exploring this app. Kudos to JEF)
