GoodLife Fitness for Android
Goodlife removed their ability to "choose a class" from their website. Before you could see when and where that class was available at any club on any day of the week. This was very convenient when trying to plan my schedule. Now it's become overly complicated and hard to use. The App is not user friendly at all and neither is their website.
Terrible app. Bad UI. Requires so many clicks to get basic info. Just make a simpler mobile site. And don't ask for location..you don't need it..just let me in and serve up my info. I swear There was zero user testing. Very disappointed
If zero is possible i will definitely rate this app ZERO. Useless. This also goes for the website. It would be great if you guys can just bring back the old website. Why do you need to change it anyway when it was working properly, usefull and easy to find classes and schedule??? Why????
This app used to work fine but now won't open at all. I can't find classes on the website either so I guess I'll just cancel my membership. It's shocking to see all the horrible reviews here and no one is doing anything about it!
This is really terrible. I think a comprehensive, cross referenced paper catalogue of classes would be a better user experience. Guys, just release an API and let someone else make an app. Maybe throw some co-op students at it, it can't really get any worse.
This could be so much more interactive. It should be the tool that the can communicate last minute class cancellations for everyone that tagged it as a favorite. Absolutely hate going to the club only to find out my class isn't running.I should be able to search for A specific class ie.bodystep, rather than get all the classes in the neighborhood. Especially difficult to search if I'm in a different location other than at home. Hey GoodLife stop pushing my fitness belt at a cost and improve the app!!
Start searching for class at 22:00, and the results are for the classes that took place earlier in the day. I want to go to a class not know what I missed. iOS search is much better. Tried to record workout in gym, which is a big Faraday cage and of course GoodLife has no Wifi, result ... app does not go past splash screen. Hours of club opening start with past. Weight and reps record is not part of app, QR codes could be used to preload machine info.
Terrible! Considering how much revenue goodlife is making each year and how big the company is all across Canada. This app is embarrassing for their "name" you would think they would pay a proper developer to create a well made app for its users who pay out of their nose to use their gym. I'm shocked how bad this app is! I've been a goodlife member for over 10 years. It's 2017, get with the times goodlife!
Isn't useful at all. The least it could do is replicate my membership barcode ID that I usually keep on my keyring. It doesn't look bad visually, but needs more useful features.
Why need an app? I miss having the schedule from the website. At least I was able to get the information I needed. The Apps keeps craching and very often I can't get access on the schedule. Please FIx App before emplemening no schedule on website. or at less have both for now, until all the bugs are fix. looking at your reviews I think you have alot of work to do!!!!
The app is incredibly glitchy. Sometimes I can look for classes sometimes It won't let me . So not use friendly.. Very disappointed that such a huge company with thousands of clients cannot come up with something more practical and efficient. Fix bugs! What's just as worse is the mobile website version. At least the older version allowed you to consistently check Class schedules and clubs... Despite tediously going thru the page... Even that's gone too.
Still have to go to the website to check for holiday hours as it's not reflected in the app, so why use the app at all?
It's good but needs information about which locations have on-site parking for when. You are going to a location that isn't your main. Also the rewards section would be good. And ability to use the app as your membership badge to get into the gym
Club hours are often incorrect. I feel like this app could be so much better and have much more capabilities.
I have a BlackBerry Z30 so it is very nice to find an app on the Google play store that works with out issue on it. I was able to quickly download the app, look up my local Goodlife, see the classes and hours. That is all I need. Only reason why only 4 stars instead of 5 is that it requires device / call information for some reason when installing.
Useless app. I was expecting an app linked to my user account to track my visits and workouts with the possibility of writing some notes. If you need to check the classes or opening hours beforehand check the website instead.
Trying to go through the app and figure it out. Keeps crashing.
Not user friendly. At times not able to get in states no Internet connection even though I do
What a joke. I downloaded it and it doesn't even work. It won't even open....you get what you pay for GoodLife. Hire a new developer.
The app is great so are the Clubs cannot wait until March 1, 2017 my Special Corporate Membership with club at 21 McCaul Street.
This app requires work to fix, who made this app? Seriously should have not made an app if it actually doesn't do anything...
The class times don't match up with what is actually offered. Please fix!
Can't even find my gps
I love Goodlife but this app really sucks
Gives me what in need to know
The info provided is easily searched online. What I like about the LA fitness app is that every time u swipe in at a gym it tracks it on a calendar on the app so you can see how many times you've been to the gym. Most of the time I forget to personally submit my own gym session. Take some tips from the LA app please!!
Not all of the excercise classes I enjoy are offered at the same gym. I was excited to see that the app offered a featured of bookmarking your favourite classes from various locations. However, when an exercise class is saved in the "Favourites" tab, the date of the class changes. This renders the feature useless. Please fix this.
Seriously? Who designed this app? Some amateur? When you save classes to favorites they display the wrong dates? A class that's listed as being on a Wednesday changes to Thursday when you save it to favorites. Fix this please.
Crap app. Will not search or find clubs at all . Which is exactly what I need it to do travelling across Canada and finding closest locations.
Just went on Canada day and found out the club was closed even though the app specifically says it's open for another 3 hours :/
close locations search doesn't work. not a reliable app. I'm better off googling the information I need as a goodlife MEMBER. app removed!
Woke up extra early to get a workout in only to find both of the 24/7 Brampton locations closed, the application said both clubs ware open.... Stop wasting people's time
I likes I could see when classes are but now when I add a class to my favorite it says the wrong day when I go look at it so dissapinted
The location feature rarely works. This should really be fixed as it would be one of the best features for people that travel for work
My club is closed for the day and I wanted to check what classes are available tomorrow and it won't let me as a glitch. A great feature would be if it saved your card bar code in case you forgot it at home or keep track of your streak for days gone to the gym or challenge other gym members on keeping consistent. It would definately help keep people motivated. Or to have a forum for people to comment, ask for advice and motivate one another. So far this app is only ok if your membership includes classes.
Similar to their health coaches and sales people, the app is unreliable. Since they almost monopolize the industry in my area, I have to use them. As soon as I have an alternative, I will switch.
Fancy app without essential function. Not even able to store your membership card
Needs to have your membership card to actually be useful.
Not terrible, but it could be a lot better. Crashes a lot. You should be able to add your key tag to the app so you can sign in at the club with your phone and keep track of how often you go and which clubs you frequent most just by signing in with the app each time. Also, once you sign in at the club, it would be awesome to just scan a code on the machine your using and then enter the number of reps and sets you did.

perfect app. I like to take advantage of all the good life fitness centers around me. this app allows me to add all my favorites and I can easily see when my classes are scheduled. no more going to each website to see when pump class is on. no more carrying multiple schedules with me. changes to scheduled classes are updated. I love this app. tricky to figure this app out but its worth the effort
