G.S Gino Belfiori

Il Gruppo Sportivo Gino Belfiori nasce per iniziativa di un gruppo di amici che dopo quarant’anni di appartenenza al Cus Padova hanno dato vita a una nuova associazione dedicata alla memoria di colui che fu ideatore e primo presidente della sezione podismo del Cus Padova.

Il gruppo si compone di podisti di ogni età e professione che hanno in comune la passione della corsa e che desiderano tenersi in forma praticando uno sport all’aria aperta. Nel gruppo c’è chi partecipa alle gare competitive, come le maratone o le mezze maratone, e c’è chi, più semplicemente, partecipa alle marce non competitive della domenica mattina.
L’energia che ci anima è di correre o di camminare ciascuno secondo le sue capacità, anche solo per il desiderio di stare in compagnia e a contatto con la natura, quasi mai con velleità agonistiche ma sempre sensibili alle iniziative benefiche organizzate a favore dei meno fortunati.
Corriamo e camminiamo, orgogliosi di chiamarci con il nome di colui che per tutti noi è stato un grande esempio di sport e di vita, il nostro amico Gino Belfiori.
