BlackBerry Work for Android
I've updated the app and since the app doesn't work! I use thjs daily for my work and without this I'm struggling it needs fixing! I get a message when trying to login application based blackberry dynamics library version 3.4.1.78 and is not permitted.
App is slightly difficult to install but once done works well and i dont have any issues with it. However it should use less space and should work like Good for enterprise app which is better as it ia lighter and works equally well
Works fine for two weeks.. now I'm stuck on an account setup screen with no option to type in my email address.. ridiculous
It's not bad. Can we please have option to forward calendar appointments to other people. Quite common that you want to send a meeting to someone when you are not in the office.
It keeps saying authorising and not logging in so tried to unistall and now it's just hanging. What do I do as meant to use this for work and so far unsuccessful
Still doesn't work in Android 8.1. I can at least open the app and see email, but it crashes trying to set fingerprint login. It also crashes every time I lock my phone.
Doesn't work anymore after I updated to Android 8.1 Oreo
thumbs up. After the update to support 8.1, I'm up and running again.
There's no update but it says I need to update. This is ridiculous.
Come on 8.1 goes live in a couple of weeks! Any chance of updating your app before then?
App is OK. Bit too much of a battery hog though, compared to any other email/chat/calendar app.
App crashes on login since latest update. Please fix.
Ever since switching to Verizon and trying a pixel 2 and now a galaxy s8, the phones reboot randomly. With this app turned off, I have no issues. It has happened twice today even after the recent upgrade.
Pixel 2XL Android 8.1 app closes out . ** Working after the update! Thanks for the quick turn around!
Seems like a battery hog. Always running. UX is much better than Good, though.
Finally working on Oreo 8.1
App blocked. Solved by reinstalling. Working good now.
Make it work on 8.1 ASAP
Still no finger print unlock???
Another disappointing enterprise app! Android 8.0 reports heavy battery usage while the app runs in the background. Fingerprint login doesn't work on OnePlus 3T even though allowed by administrator. The app seems to be looking for Samsung's fingerprint API, not sure if it's aware of Android's fingerprint API.
I never liked GOOD but now thanks to you Blackberry I realized my mistake! Good was better than this! I own Pixel XL and I used to charge my cell once in two days ( yes no joke!). Now after installing this app, I need charge my phone every 16 hours. Thanks again for making my charger "WORK". Also I like blue font for unread emails! It's faint, which makes me select and read email immediately! Thus thank you again for keeping my inbox clean. Once email is read, you mark it in black BOLD font; thus due to habit of my desktop Outlook client, I think its unread email and end up opening already read emails. Thus you are making me "Work" too, who need for reminders of emails!
Just doesn't work. My company only used this app for accessing mails on mobile, so I need to keep my laptop with me - just to check emails. May be blackberry will make this app work in 2050s
It's the usual arrogant attitude. Despite my work telling me this does not track me, a look at the permissions and privacy policy days otherwise. Slow clunky and unintuitive. And pushes costs onto me. Only reason I have this is for work. Otherwise wouldn't touch with a bargepole.
Enrollment and setup process is unnecessarily complex. App sometimes let's you use fingerprint login, sometimes not, with no pattern I've been able to recognize. I would never use this app at my own business, and only use it because my employer requires it.
App is still a bit buggy but huge improvement over what the Good app used to be for Android. Now if they can only keep up with developer releases, i.e. app keeps crashing on Android 8.1 on my pixel XL. Can't use it.
Only app on my phone that's doesn't support 8.1 beta. Worst email app for enterprise. Doesn't really care much about user satisfaction and resolving the many issues. I wish my company would go back to Good. Please resolve.
HIGHLY unreliable. There are no mail syncs even if you try dozens of times. Then all of a sudden the servers connect and one gets emails of weeks one already has read and managed them in inbox. Shame.
It is great when it works, I like the enterprise app store and option to use companion apps in the same ecosystem. However, it is still broken on Android 8.1 as of the public 8.1 release today. It has crashed on startup now for about 6 weeks with no signs of being fixed anytime soon.
The app does not connect to Blackberry Access. I keep clicking on the logo but it does not open the app. I can open it separately though. Because of this links in my email are not openable which is an issue
Notifications never work reliably. Spent two months working with support on issue - they would repeatedly ask for logs that were already sent, repeatedly ask for timestamps (instead of simply researching them) and closed both of the tickets unresolved. Good was way better.
Need to implement better background run. Android 8.0 screams out loud that this app takes too much resources when put in BG. And if I turn off in the notification button it turns the app off
Broken won't open on 8.1 and when contacted on Twitter they refused to tell me anything except they only put news of updates on their blog no offer to troubleshoot.
Unfortunately the app crashes on Android 8.1 Update 12/5/17: Android 8.1 is officially released, aka no longer in developer preview, yet Work still ironically doesn't work.
This app is the poster child for Blackberry's decline. Even on the rare occasions when it actually works, it isn't as good as other email applications from 20 years ago. I'd rather use post-it notes than this app.
Blackberry doesn't stay up to date on the latest os updates. Anytime Google sends out an update Good stops working. I'm on 8.1 and guess what, Good isn't working.
Android 8 shows that this app heavily uses battery in background. Fingerprint logon doesn't work (although permitted by admins). I cannot disable automatic sync.
So Android 8.1 is final and rolling out now. Does that mean based on your previous reply that we can expect a fix anytime this century so that this app will work again?
Does not work with Android 8.1. According to their website this has been known since at least late October. EVERY other app that I have installed works just fine.
Absolute shambles. Only app I have that doesn't work on Android 8.1 (beta), crashes as soon as I try to open it.

Broken in 8.1. This needs to be resolved ASAP as companies are forcing users to use this app and it is critical. 8.1 is no longer beta. This should be supported day 1. Thanks
