GoMetro App

It's crap! Doesn't even work properly. As crap as the metro rail service in general. What made me think the app was good when the trains are as unless! Can't even get information without it being wrong or messed up! Waste of time and space of an app.

The app could do without the adds but then again it's free so this bad ratings can now get to an end. The website is what this app mirrors, so if it is crap what can else can the developers do. Well done to the creators hopefully you guys improve this app to a point where nobody moans.

The app is slow. When trains are cancelled all that is provided is the train number (no times). App only gets updated every hour it seems. Some trains will be delayed but nothing will be shown on the app. This app is pathetic as Metrorail and South Africa in general

This app is a piece of crap. . Its as bad as the service. . If not worse... tried checking train times for a future date and it gave me an error. . Probably predicted a train malfunction lol ... can't change dates of travel then it gives an error pathetic seriously. . And what is up with the ads... here's more ads on here than in a shoprite leaflet

The app is OK. I guess it's fairly new so it won't be perfect at first. When I go back the app stops working which can get quite annoying.

The app is OK in design and all but when you click back on your phone the app stops working and closes. The times on the app need to be adjusted abit to be more accurate, it tells me a trip from parow to stellenbosch is 1hour somethng minutes yet it's less. Please also add all stops on your next update, the train from parow to Bellville has one stop which is tygerberg. It doesn't reflect on your just says one stop which can make some one get off on the wrong platform.

The app doesn't work properly. It's given me error pages when trying the message my boss function (Unfortunately we are not able to perform your request. Either the screen or resource you are looking for is removed) and when trying to log on via FB(ur not logged on). Navigation is frustrating (dinno where to go) and the information on train delays aren't organised in a logical way (there's a comment string where Metro Rail comments on delayed and cancelled trains...but no info on the trains I'm waiting for)

Times are incorrect. Keeps telling me the next train will arrive within a minute and nothing comes. Downloaded it in a moment of desperation at the station and it was a total waste of time and data. I get that the developers can't constantly monitor the trains and they're trying to help but giving people incorrect information isn't helpful. Besides that, app keeps crashing, isn't user friendly, ads are intrusive and you can get all the same information on their site.

Also big annoying ad covering too much of the screen

After multiple claims of improvement there are still some issues. Multiple ad banners in a single view. Why? Do you think people will buy from the bottom banner if not from the top? When choosing a route from and to your menu doesnt colapse. This makes the view very small and uncomfortable. A little bit of screen in between the adds an the menu. The app also stops working regularly

This app has only one purpose - it is designed to let you tap on the adverts accidently, as you struggle to get the dropdown menus to respond. No useful feedback from app writer on my emails to improve app.

The only tranport app worst that this one is your other one that doesn't open and which you have failed to fix in the past 3 years. The links doesn't work on the app it fails to try and resolve routes. As the systems architect for the biggest company in the transportation industry I have to hang my head in shame to think people might associate others in the industry with you

When requesting train times why do need to sign in,that's a bit time consuming especially if you in a hurry. Also en entering data in the text field its quite difficult to see what you typing as the whole screen shifts.

Great notion but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The app crashes a lot.

Login hangs, and bugs out, why do you need a login anyway? So 4/5 time route planing fails. App has gone down hill. Only other use is the updates, but you could just follow the Metrorail twitter feed for that

This app is stupid gives you wrong info and crash most of the time. Everything of metro sucks

This is the worst app ever never works #fail #metrofail then they want us to use public transport

The only thing that disturbing its when there are cable thieves but since I'm close to the station I see them trains movements .

Cant get a rout from Durban Road to Wale Street. App crashes or error

Tembisa has 3 stations,(Tembisa,Limindlela,Leralla) they are not available in this app..

Whoever created this had the right idea but horrible execution

Commuting made easy. This app delivers what it promises. With Live updates you always a step ahead. Definately recommending this app to friends and family. Great idea. Great work.GoMetro

It doesn't work most of the time and when it does the time is wrong so if it was up to me don't go wasting your time just go to the stations and ask there much better then this app

At this stage the app is unusable. Many graphics and layout changes needed later. Now functionality needs to work. One can't directly import a Web app into a mobile app.

Great idea but poor execution. Its not user friendly at all. The interface is poorly put together. I like the idea of it so thanks for that and hope u make it a great app. The ads seem to be the only thing that works. Which we dont need. Please please remove the ads. This is not for the people like you say it is if there are ads.

This thing is a bit stupid though, how come does a train from Kopanong to Pretoria takes 167minutes whilst other trains take 47.? Secondly.. Always the last train from Pretoria to Jo'burg during the week is 0678 not the one this app keeps giving us

30 seconds after installing it, it stops working. I'm also late for work as we speak. This is unacceptable

Please remove the adverts!! Otherwise better app than the 1st one, except for the layout.

App doesn't work. It's now 1633 and I am searching for the next train on my route. It gives me the first trains of the day what I am looking for. The ads make it virtually unusable

Since upgrading it says WC stations don't exist

Keeps telling me "it can't get me to my destination at the moment"

Loads of room for improvements

Such a shame for what was once a great app
