This app has all the golf handicap calculations you need: handicap indexes from player scores, course handicaps from indexes, and individual/team handicap allowances for competition formats.
This app provides the following functions:
* Compute the USGA Handicap Index (HCI) for any player in your Roster
> Get separately computed 18-hole HCI and 9-hole HCI from player scores
> Can manually enter an HCI for any player with no recorded scores
> Customize the HCI computation with number of scores needed and used
* Automatically compute a player Course Handicap (Hcp) from their HCI
> Includes "+" handicaps for better-than-scratch players

For any player in your roster, either enter their HCI manually, or have this app automatically compute it from their recorded score history. Separate 18-hole and 9-hole HCIs are computed from 18-hole and 9-hole rounds. Also, customize the number of scores needed, and the maximum number used to compute that HCI. This supports weekly 9-hole golf leagues with novice players who play infrequently.
This app computes golf handicap allowances for many stroke and match play formats for individual, 2-player, and 4-player team competitions. Team play formats include best ball, total score, foursome alternate ball, Pinehurst (aka Chapman), and scramble for 2-player teams; plus best ball, best-2 balls, and scramble for 4-player teams.
The app can be used for mixed-tee and mixed-gender outings with many foursomes of players competing. There are integrated tools for managing a player roster, and favorite golf courses.
This app uses official USGA handicap allowance formulas, but Settings allow some variations.

This app has more features than any other handicapping app out there. You can compute indexes from scores for as many players as you want. And separate 18-hole and 9-hole indexes are independently calculated. Plus, there are settings for customizing all computations. This is especially useful for 9-hole weekly golf leagues with novice players who play infrequently. No other app supports this type of functionality.
