GolfLogix #1 Free Golf GPS App

UPDATE: when will Golflogixset their app you use smart watches! This would be great on my Gear S2 watch and not have to grab my phone out every hole. Thanks, I used this app along with my handheld GolfLogix. I found it interesting that I sometimes had two different yardage from what should be two similar devises. I like that I can keep track with all my clubs and it helps with my handicap. Would like it to show the actual green sizes to know what areas you should hit the ball towards.

The hook, slice, push and pull arrows on the shot tracking are backwards and I've put in that I'm a right hander. The free features are usable and pretty straight forward. They have a lot of the features locked for the premium version wich is reasonably priced. I just haven't committed to a golf app yet. Of the ones I've tried, I do like this one more than others.

Good app. But although changes a year ago made it quicker, I can't get rid of driving stats entry. I just want score and putts on each hole. Also has problems on the Pixel with a course that is out of cell range, but used to work on the Moto-X

Very nice app. I love it for the courses I play. My issue is I am being charged two times each year for the same app. Which one should I cancel to keep the current app active. This happened last year when there was an update but it did not carry my existing fee forward. I just want to be sure I am just paying annually for the app.

It sucks now. I just got on-line at my desk top and the only thing it gives me now is averages. I cannot access the "clubhouse" to change or delete clubs, review my club stats, club by club over the entire time I have used a club. It work ok on the course, but some of the upgrade there suck too. I should load the tee box info at the beginning of the round, now at the end. Also, it wouldn't hurt to verify with the clubs that he tee boxes listed are accurate.

I having trouble using this. When I hit the ball numbers don't change? What am I doing wrong? It updated and now it closes when I opened it. Do I need to carry it in my pocket to work? Can someone show me how to use this right?

I've been using this app since their first year. I must admit, they've come a long way since then. I have almost 400 rounds using Golflogix. I tried other free apps when they all first came out but decided to pay for this one because it's so much better. For years I had to carry an extra battery because it went through batteries fast. So I decided to purchase a Samsung S7 Edge because, according to Consumer Reports, it had the best battery of any phone. Now I love this app because I never have to worry about running out of juice in the middle of my round.

Just awful. I had premium for a year and was marginally satisfied. My upgrade renewal was automatically processed and paid but my app returned to free. No communication or notice. There are other better options out there and I feel like I just got ripped off by GolfLogix for $30.

I have used this app for years. The biggest problem is they are so slow to update when Android updates. The thing I just realized is the same issue the GPS stops working quickly. It takes forever to update a distance and you move 100 yards and the distance says 2600 yards in club distance. Android 8.0 pixel XL

App would drop out or most times or I would have to remove then re-install app, or it would drop during play. Company has yet to respond to my concerns. I'm thinking once they have your money you are on your own. Looking for another app. Richard Rhodes.

I guess this app could be helpful for your golf game if you go with the free version. Admittedly, I only used it once because my watch was out of batteries. I was offered a free 9 holes of the premium version comma and really there is no point in using this app without going with the premium version. There are too many ads for the free version and that interrupts play. My big issue is that the app would restart every time my phone screensaver came on which required that I restart my round and make my free 9 holes of Premium last for half a hole.

I like GolfLogix very well. I have had it for a long time maybe 6-7 years at least. I price went up for what reason I don't know. but it went up $20.00. I would like it much better but It doesn't work with my smartwatch. At least not yet. Can you tell me when it will work with my gear s3 watch. I might have to cancel it until it does work with my watch. Thank you .

The app is fine until your 20% off and $20 off is used. After you use them, that is it, the app does not reward you after that. No sense 8n renewing, since there is no benefit. Use GolfNow instead.

Disappointed, used it for the last few years and it worked great, keeps defaulting to Arizona, I live in North Carolina

Used to love this app but ads have become intrusive and yardage no longer updates. Told me one Par 3 I was playing was 978 yards! Diagram and other info was correct. Has basically become just a scorecard. Am going to stop using and try some of the the other GPS apps out there that actually work.

Why do I need to make an account now to use this app? Screw this, Golfpad is so much better. It's ridiculous to require people to make accounts for apps

Overall the best golf GPS on the market but has some problems in scorekeeping. Android system is slow between button choices taking too much time to enter score and stats. Tracking stats cannot be permanently set up so you have to do it every round, and instead of recording all stats on one page it moves slowly from page to page. And setting the pin does not work, just to name a few problems.

Works ok, freezes occasionally. It would really be nice to have a paid option to transmit the scores to a club for an official GHIN handicap. I appreciate the calculation but for tournaments that require an official handicap, I hate double entering scores

I've been very happy with the app AFTER I paid for the premium version, free version has to many ads. LATELY, HOWEVER, the app has several glitches-would have given it a 5 if not

Excellent App, great that it can be used on different hardware. I usually have my iPad on my cart, but when I go out of the country I only take my Android and that works fine too. Interesting upgrade recently, have not found it to be bad, just some readjusting.to new system. I love the fact that it can track club distances now. I just need to learn how it works . Simply the best golf GPS I have used. Better than systems that require dedicated hardware and this also includes handicap tracking. Great App! And when you send something to the developers, they even answer back!

It's is really basic and wants you to be the pro version!! The adds are insanely big and annoying when on the course!! Naturally they want you to pay for the pro version!! $ 30 US a year!! Or $200 Cdn or dollar is such craps!!!

Was good until the last update. Now my battery is dead by the 10th hole. This seems to be a pattern with Golf logix updates. One will fix that issue then the next it's a problem again.

The old version was amazing, the updated app kinda sucks....I wish I had not updated the app....is there a way to get back the old version? Honestly my opinion is just horrible.

I'm using this app to track my course stats. Very helpful for analyzing each round and seeing my strengths and weaknesses. Looking forward to creating a full season of stats to better understand my game!

Don't golf much and downloaded before round today. Front nine it worked ok (lot of pauses to catch up to exact location) but then tried to make me pay to use it on back nine.

Your updated version sucks. It will not give me hole yardage. Either give me the old version bsck or i am moving to another golf app. Bill Bowden

The app is not too bad and gets a little better with each update. I wish for the stats tracker it would give you a scoring average like 4.5 for par 4 instead of +109 for par 4.

I got this app and was really happy with it for a long time, but lately it has been pretty worthless. Every time I open the app it has someone else listed as the profile on my phone. I have called and tried to have it fixed several times- I had to call since they won't consistently respond to email- they reset my account each time, and sometimes it works other times I don't have my club distances listed, sometimes the program mixes my information with stock distances. The last time I called and reached someone- I asked why it was happening and the rep got really snarky with me. When I called last week I couldn't even get through- phone system was down. I am hoping things can be improved- but I certainly am not going to renew again if it keeps failing.

Pretty good app if you pay for it. Takes a long time to enter scores which can be annoying when scoring for 4 people or doing detailed rounds.

Excellent app.they really believe in customer first satisfaction. Very prompt to reply to possible problems. Definitely a must have for any golfer

I wanted to say that I had no issues whatsoever with the new update. The GPS was quick to update distance and it was accurate +/- a yard or two as compared to my range finder. Navigation is different but became user friendly very quickly. Very happy with this update. I like the color and screen layout much better than the old version. The other thing I noticed was I had much more battery life at the end of the 18 holes using the new update. 5 stars from me on this! Great work!

Overall I love this app. My only compliant is ordering through golf now is really bad. Also, I never confirmed a purchase with my $20 discount for a round. I closed the app an came back and can't find it

Got a new phone, have an annual subscription, shows it right there in the play store. Downloaded, logged in, no subscription? Asked if I wanted a subscription?? Doesn't expire until 4/2017

Even playing the same course it downloads it again. Adverts all the time, every new hole, others times too; then videos when I look at other sections of the app. Free only gives distance to the centre of the green, not front or back, not hazards and course features. Expensive monthly subscription to get the ad-free fully detailed upgrade.

I like the app for being able to see the layout of each hole. Yardage seems to be more accurate than with previous versions. Newest update took away the ability to add tee boxes to app, which in turn will provide an inaccurate handicap.

Horrible! Old version so much better. Sorry I allowed the update! Looking at other apps.

I've had this app for a long time and it keeps getting better. Statistical tracking is my favorite. Ads were annoying, so I upgraded and it made this app awesome. I recommend this app to anyone at any level of golf.

I have premium acct. Tried to use but got msg that I reached limit in course downloads for the day, even though I hadn't downloaded any. No help. USELESS! I'm done with this.

Upgrade has been updated due to customer input that found it less desirable. It is back to fully acceptable.

User interface is not user friendly. Takes too much time on the course. If you make a mistake it is difficult to go back and to correct it.
