Use Beats/Minute to find the beats per minute (BPM) from taps on the touchscreen. Portrait orientation shows the average, minimum and maximum beats. Landscape orientation shows beats plus the average, minimum and maximum time between beats, as well as the total elapsed time and count. Useful for finding the tempo of a song, your heart rate, average time between events, or as a simple counter or timer.

I've used GoldWave on the PC for quite a while now, and this is always the first thing I turn to if I need a quick beat count for something I'm listening to. The down side is waiting for GoldWave to start up each time, sometimes missing what I was trying to get a count on. This app lets me do that without needing to start GoldWave proper.
