I tried it with 2 smart phones. In both cases and after wasting my time registering (and btw giving my mail address so you can trade with it) I can't pass from the first page where I am supposed to choose my own language (which I do). Maybe previous versions were worthy, but this one wasted my time... twice

The ways to learn are simple and effective. I've used DuoLingo to learn French (j'ai adoré l'utiliser) but I've found I like using this app even more. There's no stress of blowing long streaks (I had a bit of a melt down after blowing a 126 day streak). I love using this and would recommend if I had any friends who wanted to learn Russian.

This app is definitely great to learn Russian or any language for that matter! The only thing it really needs is a way to control how fast the teacher talks. Because it goes way to fast and its hard to keep up! Other then that, it's great! Will give 5 stars once that function is added.

Love this more than Busuu or Duolingo, both of which are good. But this, in allowing me to roam freely across the languages many areas, tailoring my time to my whim, and giving me an excellent pronunciation approach, has become a daily edutainment that I've never quite found in anything from Berlitz to Rosetta to Pimsleur (my favorite of the major language-instruction purveyors). That it also costs so little just makes it a godsend, and an absolute no-brainer for any finding their way in a foreign tongue.
