Learn Greek! - "Greek 50 languages" (www.50languages.com) contains 100 lessons that provide you with a basic vocabulary. This free app has 30 lessons. With no prior knowledge, you will learn to fluently speak short sentences in real-world situations in no time.
The 50languages method successfully combines audio and text for effective language learning.
50languages corresponds to the Common European Framework levels A1 and A2 and is therefore suitable for all types of schools and students. The audio files can also be effectively used as a supplement in language schools and language courses. Adults who have learned a language in school can refresh their knowledge using 50languages.

Why is this app requesting to delete mp3 files from my phone? I can't pick a language without deleting files apparently. I dont want to delete anything and there is plenty of space on my device.

It teaches you all the vocabulary and phrases you need to know and allows you to learn them in different ways - whether you're a visual learner, an auditary learner, or a kinesthetic learner. The downside is that it doesn't teach you much grammar or sentence structure - lucky for me, I've already learnt that in Greek, so it's perfect!

I love everything about Greece and Greek mythology. I had been teaching myself greek for a while, but never really caught on. The second I started using this app it became so much fun! Not only does it pronounce the words in different ways, but it also has fun games that make learning fun! This is an amazing app and I recommend it to everyone! My friends are amazed that, me. I'm looking for an app to help me with some basics for a trip, such as reading Greek letters so I can understand written words a bit, and something with a few phrases & pronunciations. I was hoping this would be a good choice but there doesn't appear to be any sound so no help with listening or pronouncing, and the interface is pretty crummy. The only way to get to the main menu is by using the back key multiple times. I guess I'll keep looking.

This app is the best so far. Developer offers it for purchase in amazon and suggests it's useful for public education and library use. I suggest you ask your library to purchase it.
