Leftover Reminder PRO

There is probably enough food in world to ensure that millions of people do not remain hungry. However, there is huge amount of edible food loss at every stage of creation, distribution and consumption process. Part of this is staggering amount of edible food discarded at homes and ending up in landfills.

Leftover Remainder is an App to help family manage their edible food supply. It acts as remainder for fruits/vegetables/cooked-food that reside in refrigerator and pantries along with their expiry date.

In this app you can create “tags”, optionally with picture, to identify your food type. Most commonly used tags are added by default, you can create your own custom food tags like sandwich, shakes etc. Once you have created your food tags you can add multiple leftovers to them along with date of expiry, cost and amount.

“Expiry” tab in the app will keep track of food that are expiring in chronological order. “Expired” tab will list items that have expired. Use “New leftover” tab to create custom food type tags, you can also add picture along with food type name for easy identification.

When a leftover is deleted, the app asks wether it was consumed or wasted. Reports are then available in cost basis and amount basis format. However, reports are only available for those leftovers which are added either with some cost or amount.

Notification will help you remind of your expiring leftovers.
