Batua App comes with a Bank Wallet brought to you through our partnership with YES Bank. It is compliant with and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Batua is also accepted at places where you need payments on the phone - for home deliveries, at your neighborhood grocery store, at a flea market, at the toll road or in auto-rickshaws too!

Permissions:

We know it can be a little scary to see applications requesting permission to access areas of your device functionality, so we're trying to be as transparent as possible. Here are the key permissions added to this release and how we are using them

- Location: To give relevant list of outlets close to the user and to map her to the merchant outlet.
- Contacts: To invite friends to the table and enable splitting bills.
- Accounts: To validate user's registered email addresses.
- SMS: To validate the user's phone and send/ receive OTP to authenticate the transaction.
- Camera: To enable users to add their photographs to the user profile.
