Alert zone map, a lot of weather condition layers including Hurricanes and Tornados!!. Does have notifications and very user friendly interface. This is a very useful app. I am a SKYWARN Spotter in Union County, NJ and it is the best for radar and features. Being able to watch the latest video forecast is very nice too. I tried some of the competitor apps from other NYC media, this tops my list.

Since the update, the radar does not work properly. It does not have any overlay images. You need to click on "info" (the "I" icon at the bottom right of the radar page) and then click on the following buttons; satellite, clouds, standard, radar, and then OK to get the overlays to work temporarily.

This app suffers from too much overload. If you not a weather geek, you will drown in the features. Just finding a simple forecast is a challege. Weather Underground apps are a better choice.
