About Incoming!
Incoming! provides hands-free identification of incoming calls, text and MMS messages. It speaks the contact name and, optionally for SMS/MMS messages, the text of the message.
Additional features:
- searches your contacts based on the incoming phone number, text, or MMS source
- control the speech rate/pitch
- shake the phone to turn off the speech
- Home screen widget to easily turn on/off identification
- change call/text announcement message
- honor phones volume/vibrate level
- enable/disable Incoming! notifications via Tasker profiles
- optionally silence ringtone or notification for Incoming! announcement
- optionally replace emoticons with speakable words

I really like the hands free ability to hear my texts. The shake feature to stop the message if I don't want to hear it is nice as well.
I LOVE your "Silence!" app too!!!
I switched from a Blackberry to a Galaxy S4, and was looking for an app that would automatically set the phone to "vibrate" when I put the phone in the holster. Silence is great!

Running on Atrix 2. I installed it but do not see a widget nor does it pick up incoming texts.

I have to keep restarting my cell phone because the read to text feature doesn't always work not to mention the fact when I hit the microphone it'll give like three or four noses like the beeping noise it's supposed to and doesn't record my voice hopefully they can work the bugs out getting pretty tired of having to do this over and over and over and over again

In order to get adjustment features you HAVE to purchase the Pro version. Didn't know there was one until the bait & switch b/c there's no mention of it in the description of the app. While writing this I got a text and nothing was announced. I guess that's in the Pro version. :-(

Was great for a while because I have it read incoming texts while on my motorcycle. However, if you keep old messages, when you receive a new group text , it reads ALL old group texts before reading the new one.

I've used Incoming! with Handcent and the native Android Messanger. Love the Oct2014 changes. One suggestion: add the ability to automatically send a "can't text now" text message in response to incoming messages, to facilitate "No Texting While Driving" .

Will not read out messages or caller when connected to bluetooth . Sony experia m . I like the app if can solve issue will be happy to spread the good word. App goes through the motions but it just does not activate audio for bluetooth ., the headphones work but cannot use while driving.

Clean and simple. It just works. The volume is loud and voice is clear. Has no Ads. When Free version is this good, l know l am going Pro to support Dev's good work.

This app is wonderful, it works great with Handcent. It needs (1) to have a programmable delay before making an announcing to account for attention tones, and (2) the announcing tone and text message announcement (saying who is messaging) needs to respect privacy mode.

Announcement is loud & clear upon testing, (tested one contact), but doesn't announce the digits individually, instead, if the number has eight digits, it start with million, followed by few hundred thousand, etc. I'm using Xperia v, maybe needs an update, no updates since Nov 2013. Uninstall for now, will try again if there's updates.
