About Drag Racing Calc

Using this simple drag racer's utility, estimate your vehicle's potential quarter mile elapsed times and trap speed based on the weight of your vehicle and the horsepower it puts out. Also estimate horsepower based on your trap speed or elapsed time.

Using the most accurate calculations, this useful "bragging rights" app allows you to make standard corrections (used by NASCAR) for altitude. You can also choose between brake horsepower or wheel horsepower in your calculations.

Very simple to use, this is a great reality-check to use when building your street/strip rocket!

Need this app to do my calculations. Don't need to listen to useless revving sounds when I open up while I'm using it in public or late at night.

Reasonably accurate calculations and nice, usable interface. Correction factor for altitude is a real plus! Might be nice to have the option for kg in addition to lbs.

Nice to have this calculation handy on my smart phone! It could be handy to have 60 ft and 1/8 mi options on top of the 1/4 mi default distance. To my surprise it seems to work reasonably well even with light weight vehicles such as motorcycles.
