The Ukulele App

Really love this app, lessons are very clear and easy to follow and the tools are invaluable. However, on my tablet, videos won't go fullscreen - it would be nice if the screen rotated to landscape, but it stays portrait and just gets slightly bigger (hardly a noticeable difference). It would also be great to have access to the song sheets he mentions in the videos. Neither of these are dealbreakers though, still really like the app.

I really like this app. As a fairly new ukulele player, I find these tutorials easy to follow most of the time, and I learn songs pretty quickly thanks to that. In all honesty, the only problem I have with this app is the lyrics he follows! Some of the lyrics he "sings" are wrong... so, for people who are reading this, it wouldn't hurt to look up the real lyrics to the song you wanna learn. Overall, great app, and worth paying for the pro mode! :)

Love this app! Great teacher, I did my first steps with this app and it's perfect for beginners. There are so many song-tutorials, incredible! Would love to buy the pro-version but it doesn't work, tried it twice, but maybe there's a problem with my account..

Great app. Brought my son a ukelele for Christmas and this app seems to be the best all rounder. Basic to advanced chord diagrams all backed up with tuition videos. Perfect for anyone who wants to learn. The ukelele Turner really comes in handy too! ????????????????

No casting of YouTube videos to a bigger screen allowed by this app even though this function comes free of cost by YouTube. Would be easy to implement it within a minute but for some reason this is surpressed.

Got the tuner and some lessons working. Good teacher. One problem, it says "Now a word for the sponsors" but doesn't show and ad and the app never works again. I have to close it and open it again. Something is buggy.

Its a good app with a lot of helpful tools for anybody to learn ukulele. His video tutorials are all amazing, but the app could use some work. When trying to select a song I have to press a couple of times for it to register what I want. It would also be extremely helpful to see songsheets on here that go with the videos instead of having to go to his fb and dig in there for them.

Still a few chord shapes wrong. The app only wotk in portrayed mode and the videos won't do full screen landscape mode. This would be more helpful. Thanks.

Beginner songs aren't really good for beginners and he doesn't truly explain anything. Also it gets stuck on "Now a word from our sponsors" except there aren't any sponsors and you have to close the app and reopen it to continue.

I love it! it has helped me tuning my *insert instrument* and now I can go back to playing sad songs! thank you so much

i paid for the pro mode twice due to an error in the app. despite that, my version is still not it pro mode. edit: thanks for the refund. hopefully you'll fix the bugs in your app. i found out that the app freezes when it tries to show ads.

I can't get this app to do anything. Such good reviews, so I got it, yet it doesn't work. Pretty disappointing.

This is a great app for beginners as I am one myself, I found myself playing songs right off the bat. I love that it helps you with the strumming pattern as well, very helpful.

App doesn't seem to work. Will show list i.e. getting started, basic chords etc but doesn't do anything else. Doesn't link to a vid or open anything up. Shame as I had heard good things about it.

Such a great design and so great content. Can we be able to rotate screen ehen viewing th3 videos?

Didn't really get a chance to "try" this app. The push for the buy in starts before you get a good shot at a test. It might be a great app but I will find one I can actually try before I buy. I know it's less than 3 bucks but I feel forced into a move. Nope!

Hey I'm a pro user all the service you provide....lessons are very good....I learnt uke so much from you.....but there is a bug in the app...I can't open videos to full screen I see only dark screen but could still hear the audio....please take care of this issue..

so I had bought the pro mode. but I factory reset my phone and reinstalled the app and I was going to restore my paymeny, it always crash. sorry for giving 2 stars, but if you can help, I would glad to make it 5.

It's a wonderful app I just got my first ukulele and it helps a lot! It teaches basic cords, has a tuner, easy to follow songs it's 10/10 the best uke app I have (out of like 6 :^) ))

Not so much of a friendly app. The things are so much crowded in there. Even the tuner is not an automatic one.

So Helpful and useful. Just starting out to play ukulele today and I found this. This made my day even better. Lots of songs to choose from in different levels. Gonna use this to learn more and play ukulele better.

Bug report: when starting it up, i get an error "?.0: attempt to compare number with string."

This is horrible it said you can TUNE the cords BUT YOU CANT itsa a big fat SCAME from this stupid youtuber dont get this app

I would love it if the videos could go fullscreen and the normal tuner could be added on to the other tuner you. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Love, a fan

I've had the app for a day now and really like it. You can tell a good amount of time and thought went into making this. Has everything you need to get notes chords and songs. I'm a fan of John's YouTube work; he got me going as a beginner (which I still am). Spend the $1.99 and support this guy.
