WebCam Push Alert is an application for iOS that offers some unique features and services for those who have a webcam connected to the Internet.

The main features are as follows:
• the user, once the program is installed, has to submit a free registration to our server. So he will be entitled to obtain an FTP account not shared, accessible only by the user via own username and password (*)
• the user's WebCam, where required, can therefore be configured to transfer the captured images (snapshots) via FTP (for "motion detection" or time interval) on the user's account created on our dedicated server
• through the application for the Android, the user can set some parameters that the server will use to filter and control the snapshots transferred via FTP from his webcam
• on the FTP server are performed in real-time continuous checks about the upload activities of the webcam of the users, according to the parameters set by the user through the application installed on his smartphone
• when the control system of the server triggers the alarm according to the parameters set, immediately sends a "push" notification (completely free of charge) to the user of the application WebCam Push Alert, together with the snapshot that the webcam has transferred to the FTP server and that did trigger the alarm
• at any time the user can control, through any browser, own personal Web page where he can view all the images transferred from the webcam. Access via http is also protected by a username and password. The images displayed can be filtered according to the keyword set interactively by the user.
• your privacy is guaranteed, because no one is authorized to access the user's files. See in this regard, as indicated by the "Agreement" (*), which is deemed to be accepted once the user completes the entire process of registration.

(*) The type of the account is only FTP therefore there are not permitting other modes of access such as ssh or telnet. The physical limit of disk space assigned to the user on the server is 50MB, more than enough to keep online activities of their webcam for several days, if it does not generate too much "noise"!. After 15 days, the older images will be automatically deleted. The user can, at any time, download the images stored on the web server or delete them by setting a specific parameter in the app. It is possible to upload only jpeg file. Any violation will be punished and the account locked.
