About Caller ID

NEW VERSION 1.1 FIXES ALL KNOWN BUGS AND ADDS MAPS GEOLOCATION

The Caller-ID app is the internet's first free and real Caller ID service. If somebody called you and you're trying to find out who owns the number, use our app to quickly determine who called you.

Most (if not all) cellular phone carriers do not offer the full caller ID service that exists for landline phones. When someone calls a mobile phone, the cell phone caller ID leaves out the name, only showing the phone number and/or city of the caller. Real landline caller ID shows the number & name of the caller. Finally, a free & real landline caller ID utility exists for Android phones.

Simply enter the number that called you, and we provide the name ("caller identification") registered to the phone number. Our service works for the entire United States and Canada, and we are adding more countries soon. Our caller identification is accurate information directly received from our telephone company partner.

This tool may only be used to research phone numbers that called you.

What are users saying about Caller ID

This app was mediocre at best but now they have added ads that block the information and you can't close the ad. I need something more reliable and doesn't give me a city, state as a name. If it can't give me the caller info maybe it should say unknown or private. Just saying!

X70%
by X####:

Hah All it does is run adware in the background of your phone Its functionality is falsely advertised. It just tells you where the area code originates from and NOTHING useful. Google provides more info than this junk

X70%
by X####:

Lately pop up ads appear blocking number input window. Acknowledging the ad results with 'thanks for your input...', and a gray bar remains blocking the window. Previously, app had been decent. Uninstalling.

R70%
by R####:

App identified numbers incorrectly , and the few it identified were in my phone. Its a shame that given the seemingly broken do not call system and rampant schemes to do real harm to unsuspecting no app has advanced to champion this cause..

This is a much needed app, of it worked! I need this for safety reasons. Thanks for your help, NOT!

U70%

It was a landline but the only info it have me was the city where it was located. I already knew that info. I wanted the company name.

This so called app is full of errors. I input numbers that are listed in the Yellow Pages and it only gives the area of the first six numbers. Even that it gets it wrong. A 312 area code can never be Central Illinois but Chicago no matter how its cut. (312) and (773) belongs to chicago. Do not waste your time with this bogus app.

IGNORE ALL 1 STARS. App works, could definitely be better. Best on this is: 1-If the number is with your provider it will show a name. Otherwise it will display: caller, wireless caller, the business name if it's a landline . 2-location are of where the number or phone contract was created. Businesses came up with a street address, assuming they were all listed on Google. Did give locations for telemarketing. I did not find this spyware or bloatware, it does have ads, which is to be expected.

False advertising! Enter number, then wait while 'searching' and PAY to get ANY results. Want a thorough, honest program??.. try 'Current Caller ID'. They do ALL of the following FREE!..land & cell searches, GPS location, addresses, spam block and community reporting(if u receive spam call, report it to them. They show u how many people reported that particular # then block calls from them in the future.)it also provides caller's email(if they have one)and caller's other numbers,as well as photo
