With the technology in these vehicles now it would be nice to be able to control some of your interior options threw the app, such as heating and cooling settings and be specific with them. As well as the heated steering wheel. If also really like to see a smart watch app. I know competitors are starting to do this but a smart watch app would be awesome to see. I think it would be used alot by many.

Still showing dashes "--" for lifetime EV miles on my 2017 Volt...I don't understand why this critical data point is still not being populated.

Most of the App seems to work fine. Not sure if it's the app or the system in my Bolt but the Bolt refuses to establish a Keypass connection to my S6 Edge

Does not update/connect to the car at all. It does acknowledge the car and subscription but nothing else.

It's a bit of convenience. One more way for big brother to keep tabs on you. But it's good information. All the app functions are working for me. As of now. And I use them.

Vehicle status does not work in this app. on last 2 updates.

This app helps when tracking the use, mileage, and getting directions to sent to my car.

I have used the app since I purchased my new Silverado 2 1/2 years ago. very good app, would have given 5 stars if the last update would not have deleted the send to nav function. I have the factory Nav and I used to be able to search on my phone thru the app for a destination and once found, I could send to my Nav system, now it wants a subscription to use the Nav function, which is an onstar rep telling you when to turn and such. not interested in that.

Thanks for the last update - as somehow this has resolved the issues seen. the app is working correctly and now I can access the diagnostics from my vehicle along with other features such as remote lock and so on. Works great! I didn't bother and will not bother with the fingerprint function instead of PIN since the last two updates caused the app to goof up.

D70%
by D####:

Terrible. Took forever to learn to figure it out. Finally, I learned how to send navigation to my car the other day. When I tried to use it again, it asked for a finger print, denied and entered a pin, but then it kept kicking me out. Deleted the app and reinstalled it to now not have the option to send navigation to my car anymore. In its place it just says parked location. What's up with that?! So frustrating! And btw, I have the highest on star plan!

Pretty much useless since new update now it just says I have to upgrade my OnStar to a paid membership Thanks for responding but the problem is only with your app. My OnStar app let's me check battery charging just fine and I am on the free OnStar. Just the chevy app won't let me check with out upgrading my OnStar membership! Lmfao

I've downloaded this app to use w my Chevy Traverse I purchased. Everytime I attempt to sign on to the app, I keep getting an error reading... (400_4) & told to check app update...I've updated my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled so many times its ridiculous, & still the same thing!! I've spoke to sm1 in GM customer service and even my phone network (Sprint) but no1 seems to knw what the problem is!!! I was also told its an app thing, but who wld I speak to abt that!? #ANNOYED

Vehicle status should be part of onstar basic service. I've got a 2017 volt and vehicle status allows me to do occasional charge now as opposed to schedule charging. In Canada status is not part of basic service. This truly sucks! Rest of the app is good with occasional freezes.

D70%
by D####:

Good until recent update. Now when I use remote start, the app gives an error saying there is no Internet connection when there is one. Have to try several times and fail. It will randomly go ahead and start the car after I give up on it working.

D70%
by D####:

After spending 50k on a brand new truck you'd think they could figure out how to make the app work. Vehicle status worked for the first 2 weeks after my purchase, now it always says "upgrade now". What a waste!

D70%
by D####:

I can't seem to get it to work. I open the app and it sits there saying "updating". When I try locking my doors with it, it takes forever then simply says "doors were not locked. Please try again." Can't see any of my vehicle diagnostic information either.

D70%
by D####:

Completely useless now that the remote start and lock features have been removed...I've had this app for years but there's no point now. Definitely will consider a FORD for my next vehicle if Chevy is going to take away features that have been free for years. POOR DECISION CHEVY!!!

An awful ugrade. Ap went from great to disgusting. I can no longer send destinations from phone to vehicle navigation system (2015 Silverado). Totally disappointed as I have about 3 years remaining on my basic plan. Which, as noted in previous posts, is supposed to be included for 5 years. Absolutely terrible and unacceptable!!! Please fix this!!! UPDATE ON 11/28/17 .. HEY THANKS for the update - my phone ap send to in dash navigation seems to work again. YAY AND THANKS!! Really great and ????

The new updated app is awful. This was a great app for my 2013 Equionx. Now everything is slow or want load. Then you factor in that they added things to the dash board that nobody really cares about and took away a very useful one. They took away maps where you could send directions to your vehicle without calling onstar. They left parked vehicle which there again is of very little use. Overall very bad app update.

App used to be great. Seems as though I'm having the same problem as everyone else. It hangs and loops on asking for the PIN/fingerprint. If it does somehow get past that vehicle status never loads. Ive tried logging in and out, clearing app data, reinstalling the app, nothing seems to work.

I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu with remote start, but this app doesn't have remote start on the remote commands. It would nice if I could start my car with this app. I called onstar & I was told to delete the app then add it again & I have done this several times & it still doesn't work SMH!????????

Hey Chevy. Seriously looking at purchasing a 2018 Traverse in the next month. One of must have features is remote start for us. From the reviews on this it seems that your app is seriously broken and rendered useless. I highly suggest you get this fixed ASAP or you will lose a $40K sale and a potential lifetime Chevy customer. I'm not spending that much on a vehicle and have advertised features not work.

D70%
by D####:

Useless. Every option says upgrade now even though I have a fully active OnStar plan that I just renewed! Can't remote start, lock, anything. Awful.

D70%
by D####:

No longer able to view my vehicle status and asks me to spend $15/m to do it. Nice spending $30k to be nickeled and dimed. Edit: app updated and now it just repeatedly asks for my pin. Tried signing out and reinstalling. Still same problem.

Handy tool but bad on battery. If I use this to start up my car in the morning, by end of the day the app will have been 20 to 25 percent of the battery usage. This is after charging on the drive so that shows it continues to run in the background well after usage. I have to manually kill the app.

D70%
by D####:

Useless app!!! Never unlocks or locks my vehicle... Don't even think about trying to start your vehicle with this app, IT WON'T WORK!!! I called onstar from my vehicle and the phone just rang... No-one ever answered!!! Thanks for nothing onstar!!! Totally useless service not worth $30 a month (or even $5 a month!!!) Deleting immediately!!!

I drive a bolt EV. Application Does not update or alert automatically. You have to open and swipe down on the right spot.- a secret step. Then a few minutes later it may display the correct status. The main thing you need an application like this for is to tell you your electric car has finished charging so you can go unplug it. This application doesn't do anything like that. It is not designed to support an electric vehicle.

I was told about this app by my sales person as we bought our 2nd new Chev vehicle in less than 2 years. He boasted the capabilities like remote start and navigation and couldn't believe I didn't have the app already from first purchase. I read the reviews and looks like those options have been removed. I told him when we went back to take possession of the second vehicle and he was shocked and said, no way. So I came home and downloaded it. I have played and played with it. I don't see those options.

Was forced to update this app, which had been working perfectly fine for me, and now it won't work at all. Can't even start it up, it spins and then closes. Useless. And that is frustrating, because it was once such a nice app! You guys took a good product and made it into an awful one.

Since the last update, the locate your vehicle doesn't work properly. Example when I was in Mexico last week and my truck was in the US, the locate ur vehicle said my truck was in mexico.. I think you might have a slight bug.

D70%
by D####:

Its been "updating" for a week now. It give me no feedback or vehicle control. I have uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. Even downloaded to other devices including android and iphone. I was told I would get a call from case management to find a solution. That was a week ago. I contacted them and resubmitted a case. Still no response. Sorry to say I'm Very dissatisfied.

Almost useless...app stopped working last week for some reason. Everything that was free now asks you to upgrade to a payed plan. I called customer service and they said they are aware of the problem and that it would take 72 hrs to fix. It's been a week now and no fix....Update...10/26/17- app seems to be working now.

Have a 2017 Bolt with OnStar 3 months free plan. I can start charging remotely, but can't turn it off. Not good. Also can't change amps remotely.

Worked at dealership, unless salesman pocketed the autostart and mimicked it, then never again. Nothing but system 900 errors. Doesn't work on LG, Samsung, or Motorola devices. Our Viper SmartStart on a 17 year old car is more reliable!

Would like it if after I create a route with charge stops, the app had an option to send to the car or into waze/Google maps instead of going to a different portion of the app and not getting the battery estimation with the route. The constant enter your pin has stopped but the vehicle status only updates some of the time when commanded.

by D####:

Update: About a day after I left my less than positive review due to the loss of remote start capability and send to to navigation capability, the remote start and send to navigation functions both returned on my app. Interestingly there was no app update during this time but somehow the functionality returned. Therefore I've raised my rating on the app and can again recommend it. I was also impressed by the response I received due to my negative review and their concern in fixing the problem. Original review: Old versions of this app were better. Would have rated old version near 5 stars. Most recent updates seem to have removed the send to navigation functionality as well as remote start functionality for all of my vehicles. The old OnStar app work better. Frustrating as I currently have three active OnStar subscriptions. Primary use was remote start which despite the description that says it's still there is no longer present for either of my vehicles on this app.

Pin entry is broken, app keeps asking for it in android version, iOS version is fine. Advice to GM: please stop advising your customers to logout, reinstall app. You should own the problem and rollout the fix asap.

half the time the app does not start my new chevy. I would like it if we could increase the time on the remote start. . sometimes 10 minutes is not enough
