This is so far behind, this app is not cool at all, bluelink give you so much more and this is not a cadi. This is cadillac for crying out loud you're only interested in selling your experience onstar plan. Look at what others are doing and do better this is a Cadillac.
The app stopped working after owning it after 3 weeks. Onstar does not offer 24 hour technical support. I highly recommend a person doesn't rely on this app since support is not offered after hours.
App stopped working again. Says I don't have internet access. Wifes phone is the same. Internet access works just fine.
Stopped work . Cannot trust it, never mind getting it to work. Much worse than my Lexus app. Second time it's stopped working in a month. Need a zero stars rating for this pathetic app.
Doesn't work, won't start car. Terrible app, tried to get it yo work with an advisor for 20 mins. No success

Won't load half the time when I need to use it
App won't download
The updated app (version 3.9.0) no longer updates my Vehicle Status information. The only way to get the app to update Vehicle Status is to uninstall and reinstall the app, which as you might imagine is not at all convenient. At this point the app is only useful for remote starting my vehicle; this functionality works great! Starts my car just like I'd hoped, however the old app gave me an accurate read on how much gas I had. The new app always says I have 261 miles to go before empty, which unless the app is also replenishing my gas tank, isn't possible! Received a reply from GM, in the meantime I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and that updated it. I'll keep an eye on it to see if the information remains up to date. Changing my review to reflect this. Yet another edit...after driving 50 miles the app still reads the same amount of gas available. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I can't keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app to get an accurate gas level read. Fortunately, I don't rely on the app for this.
Loved this app until their last update. Now I can't start my srx with my samsung phone or my ipad. Sounds like I'm not the only one. Hope they fix the problem .
Has always worked ... until like almost 2 weeks ago . Called on star and my truck is connecting to on star, I live in Columbus Ohio so it's not like I don't have reception . Anyways did some troubleshooting and they said that it was the app not communicating with my truck and they would call me in 3-5 days .. ???????? it's starting to get cold and it's not working. P.s my remote start on my keys works .
I no longer can log to my Android S7 despite all the information being correct. Customer service was useless as well.
Um fix the app please & thanks! When I remote start my srx I get the notice that it didn't start at the same time I get a notice it did start. I never know what is correct. It's winter in Iowa and I need to trust my remote start feature. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, running latest Android on Pixel.
App doesnt let me log in. Tells me check for an update. Well, I barely downloaded the app, so how is it not the latest verison?? No update available in app store.
Stopped working...then 5 hrs. later fixed itself. Weird
App works perfectly. Low rating probably due to users having s***** phones. Its 2017 people not the 90s.

I've used this app for over 6 months & IT'S WORKED FAWLESSLY! COME ON PEOPLE, THESE REVIEWS ARE ABOUT THE APP & NOT YOUR VEHICLE! I'm seeing comments like no internet connection, won't log in, etc. If you have a good internet connection, a quality working device & know what you're doing, this app will work as designed! Get someone to help you set it up correctly & teach you how to use the app & maybe we'll see more realistic reviews posted! Oh & I'm not connected to Cadillac, just calling it like I'm seeing it! MY 2016 ESCALADE ESV IS AWESOME PERIOD!! PS: Also the Cadillac Infotainment people are the best, try calling them if you need help.
I have used this app since Jan 17 with no problems. Now on October 17, I can no longer track the vehicles location. I found that function to be the most useful part of the app, and now it seems to have been removed. ☹️
Always take your keys. 3 out of 5, app doesn't work ( either in SRX or XT5)
Not necessarily hate it, but I can't login I'm having to use a web browser I keep getting "Unable to retrieve account details"
Cue system fails at 50000 recommend replacing by dealer,,before bumper to bumper warranty stops I think they did this on purpose
Works perfectly. No complaints since I understand it uses satellite for communication.

Called Onstar over 5 times, App does not work properly. Never can connect and check diagnostics, starts the car sometimes but App says cannot connect to the car, but I'll come outside and the car is started but most of the times wont even start it. It will locate the car. I need to know from the App if the car is started with the green signal it gives you. So far not a good App for my car.
Really good update. App shortcuts and fingerprint is a very welcomed addition.
Works great and all the App features work awsome, No problems at all. Sometimes in the same area it can take as little as 5-10 seconds to send a signal and open the doors or to start up car and sometimes it can take up to maybe 1 minute, but usually works pretty quickly usually within 15-30 seconds. You have to remember it's not a remote it's sending a signal to a satellite and then in return sending a signal to the car so it's understandable.
Tried to hook my OnStar account to the my Cadillac app but was told that due to software updates on The mycadillac app vehicles older than 2010 (mine is 2009) would not work. That stinks

Terrible application and terrible support from Cadillac. Own 2 Cadillacs and our xt5 since purchased has intermittent loss of all controls, console, a/c, radio and navigation. Brought vehicle to dealer twice without resolution. First time we were told they couldn't diagnose or repair when system is operating properly. Second time vehicle brought to dealer during system failure and following one week at dealership vehicle returned without repair. Explanation given was system started working again and cause unknown, we can not fix or diagnose while working. We have been now living with this for almost a year. I have no more loyalty to the Cadillac brand.
Classic "shoot-yourself-in-the-foot" upgrade. It refuses to run on my Android JellyBean (4.3) phone; says it requires KitKat (4.4) or higher. It sympathetically adds, "sorry for any inconvenience". The old RemoteLink app worked fine, but it is no longer available. Way to go.
The app is useless. The only links that come up are parking location, owner's manual, watch and learn, and request assistance. I don't have any of the other features the others are referring to. I have the Onstar trial version but since nothing works I can't see the benefit of that service either. There is nothing on the app thats warrants an app. The Waze app is better at locating my car. I can learn how to operate Cue from YouTube, and I'll call my insurance for roadside assistance. What I needed the app for was diagnostics, etc. But my version doesn't offer that. There is absolutely no benefit to the app. It's just taking up space on my phone. I'll go rant on Facebook next.
Update (4/25/2017): prompt connection to my CTS from my DTEK60. OnStar support was excellent in resolving connectivity issues reported a month ago. I am running it on my BlackBerry PRIV without any issues. Prompt start and response from the app. and my CTS Wagon. Thank you guys!
Pretty much worthless to me. Too bad. It has lots of potential in the hands of the right developer.

Why do I need to have a onstar account to use a Cadillac app when the Chevy/gmc app doesn't? Pay a lot of money for a Cadillac and have to pay monthly for an active onstar account to use a Cadillac app... Deleted! No use to have the app if it doesn't start the car or anything...its useless.
