Glympse Keyboard

I first thought it would be useless as I am happy with SwiftKey, but it's actually very useful with quick send. First you enable only quick send in input methods, open some text field and from input methods choose Glympse quick send and setup the location sharing as usual and the link appears in text field and you are returned to your normal keyboard.

The quick keyboard works flawlessly in any app.

Works well in most apps, but lately, the Quicksend Keyboard no longer works in the Facebook Messenger app.

quick send will correctly start location sharing but fails to paste the link to textbox. user will have to go into glimpse app to share to the correct app afterwards.

Great concept, problem is it crashes on my phone as soon as you select a destination.

Really liked the keyboard idea with the long press G instead of using Glimpse Express while texting. My main and only issue is that it's missing the microphone which essential for me.

It's really not esthetically attractive also why not take some page from sunrise calendar book

I wish it was integrated into the phone instead of just into Verizon messages, where if someone types "where are you" you're automatically presented with the Glympse option, but this is the second best way. I hate the VZ message app and this allows me to use other text apps and still have quick access to Glympse. Works well.

You have to replace your keyboard. I would rather have a choice to assign a hot key on my existing keyboard.

You have to replace the keyboard you're using with the Glympse keyboard. With either the quick and full version. But for those who don't mind it'll be pretty cool app.

The quicksend function is useful. Sticking that into the keyboard is a smart idea: two taps inside the keyboard UI is all you need to summon Glympse and share. I predict tons of apps are going to copy this feature. But the full keyboard option (at least on my Nexus 4) completely ignores the fact that people use their language's additional characters. Long-press on a key that would have additional letters doesn't show anything, no options to change it; going to Input Methods menu and picking your national keyboard just reverts to the standard Google one. Hello, US-centrism.

I could see this starting a trend.. Insert Google Drive link, insert calendar link/invite, all sorts of possibilities for other apps

This is a very useful app that allows you to quickly add a link to your location. But when I select one of the pre-typed messages to go with the link and press create, only the link shows up.

Pretty awesome stuff from Glympse. Now i am not tied to using the main app in order to share my location with my friends - quick and easy via the keyboard.

Sharing location is a reflex now. I can share my location faster than I can type: "on my way!"

i changed my keyboard to Glympse and i do not see a keyboard when i want to do anything else like hangouts or chrome or anything

It's so easy to send a Glympse from the "G" key in any app! Fast and simple!

This has become the primary way I share a Glympse now. The keyboard makes it simple to paste a Glympse link into any app and immediately start sharing location.
