Glympse - Share GPS location

This helps allot because I have to take a cab an hour away from my house, especially with all these horror story's about cab/Lyft/Uber ect., drivers/passengers raping and killing. So it puts us at ease a bit. And it's shows where your exact location. This is also perfect if you have kids who have their own phone and you want to keep track of where they are are going.

Swipe up control at bottom of screen doesn't drag up while tracking a Glympse. Or it eventually does but it takes a while trying -- Notification of a location share comes hours late, or usually just after I've stopped watching a user. -- And that has to be the ugliest widget in the Android universe.

I love this app for so many reasons. Being able to let people know where I am when traveling in sketchy weather or just in general in case something happens. Another reason is I had to get a locksmith to unlock my car but there was no address where I was so I just sent him a glympse and he found me with no problems. One problem I have now that I didn't have before is that my speed doesn't register anymore. It just says 0.0.

I love this app. It integrates seamlessly with the message+ so I can quickly and easily notify other people of my location and they can reply with theirs even if they don't have the app downloaded. Solved plenty of headaches!

I enjoy using this app. It was effective to help my mother and I find each other at the train station when I visited her last. The only thing that holds this app back is that it doesn't link to Facebook or other social media to search for and message friends.

Used to be one of the best apps. After recent upgrades on galaxy s8, it doesn't show precise location. Customer support been working on this for a month already and no solution yet. Going to uninstall. Not the fantastic app thst used to be anymore.

Can't sort favourites so when you add one, it goes on top instead of last. Would be great to sort your favourites (recipients). When I try to drag it as it seems possible, Glympse crashes. Otherwise, it seems to be a really great app.

Works fine for small family groups. In larger work, social, or gaming settings, however, it can be creepy because of how difficult it is to suppress visibility of last-known locations. Most users don't even realize that the app shows their last-known location when the sharing finishes.

I use this a few times per week when my husband and I are trying to pick each other up from functions and work. It's awesome and saves a lot of time standing around waiting for someone.

Great way to keep someone informed of your progress. Very useful in my business of tuning pianos. Customers will usually let me know if I missed a turn LOL

I uesd it it because my spouse had an amazing it put a lot of things that need to be in the open on my defense and his not so good so the app is worth more than what it mentions lol let's just say I I got the upper hand and that made me feel like a brand new person and I didn't blame myself anymore love this app

Great app if you're looking for something similar to MotionX. Would rate 5 stars if it supported KML files or GPS coordinates. Other than that, I love it.

I love this app so much! I use it all the time! It's so much easier than asking someone where they are every 10 minutes or having to answer a bunch of texts about when you're going to be somewhere.

Never updates your location. It used to be great. I have an android and I have had problems since at least December 2017.

This app is FANTASTIC when making a long trek to visit family for them to see how you're doing. I enjoy the peace of mind it gives my wife when I go riding.

I use to love this app but since last week I cannot change the order of my pick up anymore because when I try it closes the app

Great app! I love how this allows your friends and family to see where you are during long drives. It takes a while to share your location link with multiple people though. It would be nice if it was possible to select multiple contacts and send out the exact same link to all of them at once. Also, please stop asking me to rate the app... I already have twice now! Over all, this is a must have app!

So far since i have had the app it has been okay but i think it will be with me for a good minute.

This app is great when I'm traveling so my husband can follow me on my way to pick up my dad every few weeks in California. Love it

I love it, although sometimes it takes up to five minutes to get updated view of shared glympse but it works well.

Really useful for me and my husband as we both drive quite a lot. It gives us the extra reassurance.

Fantastic utility app. My friends and I use it to coordinate our activities and it works exactly as needed.

I like it a lot. It's easy to use and don't have to go thru extra steps to share.

It works, my parole officers can track me and they can even tell how fast I'm moving not just where I'm heading.

Let's me see where my girlfriend is.... If she wants me to see where she is...

Reliable app. Like to use it for family tracking. Would like it to automatically share group member locations when GPS is on. You have to request location instead.

Makes easy for carpooling to work. I know when and where the wife and kids are.. It's great app to download.

Switch to Waze. My fiancé, and travel a lot and used Glimpse for a several years. The updates made over the last year have destroyed the functionality of Glimpse.

Frequently doesn't work on my Android.

Estimated time required for glympse doesn't work for favorite locations.
