The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar is instituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in Schools. The explicit purpose of the awards is to honor schools that have undertaken significant steps towards fulfilling the mandate of the Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign.
The performance of the schools will be evaluated under the following categories
1. Water
2. Toilets
3. Handwashing with Soap
4. Operations and Maintenance
5. Behavior Change and Capacity Building.
Eligibility
The Awards would be open to the following categories of schools:
a) All Government schools that fall under Department of Education
b) Local Body
c) Tribal and Social Welfare Department
And have valid UDISE are eligible to apply
How to Apply ?
You can Apply from Mobile App , Website & Submit Offline Application to District MIS Officer.
Last Date
All schools are invited to apply for the awards by 12th August 2016.

Swachha vidyalaya purskar campaign is very good to know and improve basic facilities of schools in INDIA.its also helpful in making clean India. But why the App is very poor? Trouble pe Trouble, Trouble pe Trouble, Bhai Kya Chal raha hai?

Its useful to develop the school BT its not working properly. When I tried to upload the images it became impossible. I tried so many times. Lastly when I updated my version it showed the completion Nd images not uploaded.

This is a govt app but its performance is too poor govt have soo poor technicians they can't do better this app really sucks

It's a very good campaign of government of India to improve basic facilities of cleanliness n hygiene in school. That will also encourage students to spread cleanliness in surrounding also. But the app is not working properly n also in rural areas network problem is there. So many schools couldn't participate in campaign. So kindly improve the app and also extend the date of participation....
