Globetrekker Challenge

Horrible. Clunky. Slow. Glitchy. Website stated use your favourite android wear. Well apparently not a Samsung device. Need to use two different third party apps just have steps sync up. Support is a joke. Multiple emails go unanswered. Significant waste of company funds!

While v2.0.0 has better load speed and faster navigation, it did not address the Google Fit sync issue. After 24-hours, it was fixed but other sync issues with iOS, Garmin and FitBit remain. The prior version was reasonable. This version outright breaks it. I disconnected its access to my Google Fit app, thinking to reset it. I went back into Globetrekker and tapped on reconnect and it notified me that the app was connected to Google Fit - without reauthentication! Clearly this is an error because Google Fit shows no connected apps. The premise of the service is logging steps. If it isn't even possible, this is a pretty lousy app. Also, the social element is terrible. There is no ability to hold conversations within the app. There is no in-line conversation. You need to post to walls and people cannot respond directly to those. The canned alerts from "HQ" are annoying and there is no way to respond to or mute them. Also, the FAQ page doesn't load fully on mobile and the email for support button is disabled. Not only that but the user interface is just unintuitive. You learn through trial and error. The "Your Footprint" dashboard, which summarises your data, doesn't allow you to drill down into it but tapping the health productivity score pops up a meaningless number (mine was 81, which is never explained. I checked again and it doesn't say if 81 is good, bad or lucky). Find a different service or roll your own.

Horrible and glitchy......keeps dumping me back at log on screen

Simple,easy yet so insightful. Loved that there was no manual entry,no pedometers and it automatically synced my data. Thanks Globetrekker

App is terrible. Issues creating a team with it hanging, after much trying managed to create. Invited 2 people and team immediately showed as full but when checking members I can only see myself. Please fix your app Edit - The people have accepted but no good. I have notification they have accepted but then they don't appear. The app just isn't working as it should.

The sync problems are still occurring they won't fix this issue.I had the same problem on the last globetrekker challenge. It's still a good motivation tool.

Unable to sync and when it does it is not often accurate. Support team in final week just don't bother to acknowledge or respond to emails sent

Worked for a week and just stopped synchronizing with my Garmin.

The app was of such poor quality I sure hope my company didn't pay any money. I used this app daily for 8 weeks. In that time not a single day went by that it worked as it was expected to. Couldn't see members of my own teams activity, couldn't see the leader board. Most days, but not all it would let me sync my data. On the days that it didn't let me I could sync the next day but it would still penalise me as if I'd gotten under the 10,000 steps that day and I'd have start the "hot streak" challenge again

No end to the issues. Will be uninstalling total waste of space on your phone

Finally able to install. Still trying to figure out how it works.

I don't know how much my company paid you for this challenge but the app is cumbersome and frustratingly useless and continuously won't synch. Will be glad when I can delete it from my phone.

Experience just got better says the email, that is an understatement. Slow to load then freezes, get your act together and make it "better". Can we go back to the old app.

Duplications of steps, not including steps, says there's no internet connection when there is. Slideshows heavily pixilated,one of the worst apps I've ever used, and now it is even worse after latest update.

Buggy crap! Leader boards don't update. Won't sync other activities. And now after updating is stuck on one screen. Even as after reinstalling I am stuck on a challenge update screen that won't close.

No activity on walls. Cant see other teams or team names repeated up to 5 times. Worst update ever.

Their judgement are one sided and strictly didnt follow their own rules.they cheat their costumer.

This app is so buggy, leaderboards dont work, adds thousands of steps for no reason. Do not bother.

Can I not give this zero stars?Multiple sync issues, data gets overwritten (steps count from other apps overwrites manual entries), crashes at random, generally very slow (so slow that the app complains about itself being slow). I've tried emailing the support team twice - no response. I pinged their Facebook page and was told to email them instead... Which probably is just saying 'you are being ignored'. If my company had not signed with this app for the challenge, I would not even think about using this.

Just doesn't sync up

Trying to open it on my ASUS keeps auto closing.

Step count keep disappearing after each sync and this problem is never resolved despite I kept reporting everyday. App update won't help. We have to manually send capscreen to system support to resume the disappearing steps. This is just stupid and ridiculous. I would never keep this app if it wasn't the official app for my company's walking challenge. campaign

The NEW UPDATE FROM GLOBETREKKER HAS STARTED GIVING SAME INCOMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS AS BEFORE. REINSTALLING THE APK FILE DOES NOT WORK THIS TIME!!! Misfit device cannot be used without this app, plz get it functional.

I got an update that they have fixed issue on ZenFone but still same issue while opening app it's auto closing.. plz fix it

App does not work on Asus phones. Resolve it... !!!

This app is full of bugs for achievement awards. When contacting tech support they take forever to respond and are then unable to help. Also very easy to cheat this app as some teams found out.

This app does not open on my MI Note Android phone - displays error: Unfortunately Globetrekker has stopped. & Your technical team is investigating this issue from last few days. Big disappointment

The synchronization of this apps with Google Fit always have problem. Manual sync. is required. The admin. adjust the steps count without fair justification. If you sync. your steps to this apps more than once a day, problem arises...terrible experience using this apps
