Excellent app, just got started but sometimes it changes patterns in he different tabs or mixes them up with previous/later ones. Furthermore it might happen that in live mode it won't play certain sounds when you click them. If you fix these minor issues 5/5 stars!

The GUI is REALLY nice! The sample sounds are good for an app....but the fact that the internal clock is sooo off, makes this pretty much unusable and the makers of this app should have realized this. It pretty much sounds like it has a random swing setting at all times, very frustrating. I realize it's adless and free, which I appreciate, but I just want to give some constructive criticism since I would LOVE for this to work well

I suppose it functions well. IDK what exactly a 909 should sound like, but if this is a true representation, I'm not a 909 fan. I uninstalled this app cuz it wouldn't keep the beat steady. This is a problem I've had with synth and drum machine apps on every phone I've ever had. It might work well on certain models and not so well on others.

This is the best. No contest. Plug into speakers for best bass. I use it daily for practice instead of a metronome. UPDATE: Kept fine rhythm on my slow old phone, but now that I have a faster one, I hear the timing inaccuracies everyone's complaining about. I hope this can be addressed, as it is currently unusable.

This is awesome in every way to old skool drum machines only one little problem. The clock, timing is terrible. Won't keep time. Please fix it. IDK how lol but I'm sure you do. This is a very well thought out app. It's no good if it can't keep a beat.

This is easy and great fun but it does go out of time sometimes. BUT so does my metronome app so it's my phone, not the app. It takes up hardly any room and is good fun. Try it, I don't regret it at all. Thanks. -Amended March 2017- Now got a Huawei phone and the timing is bang on now.

Great philosophy: simple, no ads, essential functionality. Unfortunately it lags at simple beats, totally unsteady in some rhythms. Also, won't lock on a bar when playing :(

Big latency with samples is really trouble. There is no option for change meter division. Fix it!

I like it! Fun n easy! I kinda like the inconsistent clock as well. Has its own personality. Is swing coming?

Why do people reviewing think that you should be able to edit the sounds? You cant edit the sounds on a 909. Why should I be able to edit them on an app emulating the 909? Derrrrr

Simple, but intuitive UI. Works stable most of the time, sometimes it drifts indeed a bit - maybe while the operating system is busy. The "live" mode is nice, too.

Wished it had an option to copy and paste when you want to create a longer sequence.

In this app you cannot add patterns like chainsaw or pls.. you can only use percussions
