기후변화 현상을 분석하고 대응전략을 체계적으로 연구하여 광주광역시 특성에 맞는 미래지향적 대응방안을 도출하며 기후변화대응 정책 개발, 저탄소 녹색생활문화 확산을 위한 기후변화교육 및 시민실천 프로그램 개발 등 우리 삶의 질 전반에 영향을 미치는 기후변화에 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 선진 전략과 실천방안을 발굴·보급합니다.
