Seattle Yellow Cab

After entering the pickup date and time it changed the time by several hours on the review screen.Tried it three times, same thing. Useless if you can't enter the correct time of the pickup. Played with it and it consistently adds 8 hours. I think it's getting UTC time, I'm UTC+8.

Tried to schedule a pick-up for 7am, app keeps saying 3pm. If it doesn't work right there's no point in using it.

Entering the time doesn't work (Android 5.0.1). When I wanted the clarify the pickup time the app crashed. 2 years later I still can't enter the time.

Useless app and cab service, works randomly, don't count on it to get where you're going.

So I requested a cab, the app hanged on verifying the request, then nothing happens. I tried that 3 times. Still the same. Not straight forward to use

After I book a cab it only took abou 40 minute for them to arrival at my house.

UI is terrible. Book By Map just shows you a map, I haven't figured out how to actually book without using the form. Even when using the form it never showed who was picking me up or an estimate of time. Tried using this instead of Uber or Lyft, but they actually know how to write user friendly apps that work.

user-specified pickup time gets changed by app at confirm step. can't override.

When booking a cab ahead the process for setting a date and time is ludicrous - the date, hour, minute, and AM/PM each must be entered separately (selecting one closes the window); the process lacks one obvious reassurance in that once you've selected the date it doesn't tell you the day of the week; and then IT DOESN'T FLIPPING WORK - repeated attempts to book a cab for 5:30 AM yielded bookings for 1:30 PM. Maybe it's a GMT/local time bug?

I used app to book a cab for 3:40 AM pickup to catch a plane. At 3:40 I checked Track, and No CAB HAD BEEN DISPATCHED YET. I am not in a metro area so nearest was 16 minutes out. App took my visa payment at booking but totally ignored my reservation. They didn't dispatch a cab until AFTER it was already supposed to be here and I used the Cab Hailer feature. Then, while "reservation" said it was paid with my credit card, cabbie insisted he had not yet been paid. I will NEVER use this app again.

Never will I use yellow taxi again. I had three cabs call me to tell me they can't make it, that I needed to do the extra work and call and cancel. Always use Uber and Lyft. So much better and cheaper.

I booked a cab, then looked at the pending booking section of the app. My phone changed orientation from portrait to landscape (I tilted it), and the app cancelled the booking. Buggy buggy buggy.

Don't tap or download this app. After waiting over 45 mins for a cab, get a call from a driver that I live to far (i live in the city) that he is not coming to pick me up. Long story short ended up missing flight. I will never use Seattle Yellow cab ever again. I didn't want to, but I might just have to give this Uber thing a try.

When I click on pending bookings to verify that my booking is really there, it shows nothing. Tried to email support, but email bounces back us undeliverable. I really don't want to get stuck on Christmas Eve with no cab to the airport.

Generally works well. People show up when they are supposed to. The tracking may be better but it works well

So frustrating! My location appears accurately on the map, but I can't use that location for pickup. The form interface sort of works, but only for some addresses. I had hoped that the app would work better in areas without street addresses, e.g., the University of Washington.

Are you actively training your drivers to disobey traffic laws and attempt to cause accidents? I haven't seen a single one who was not a danger on the road.

The only problem I had is that cabs came too soon after I requested service.

Wouldnt show booked trips or track arrival

Garbage app. Didn't take my booking. Horribly bad design...seems like it's not complete.

The only reason I use Yellow cab over Uber, is so I can make advanced booking. Had their old app installed, tried to use today, and it could not connect to their sever. Uninstalled, then reinstalled the new app (this one). Still could not make advance booking, just gave me spinning circle continually. Tried it several times today and always the same. Had very strong WiFi connection too. Guess there back end severs are just crap. Uninstalling, and will stick with Uber

I thought this app was a good idea but having an 8 character password with an app I can charge money on is not OK.

Arrived on time got me to sea tac fine but don't like the square receipt. It doesn't show it's for a cab. I'm hoping my company accepts it.

I can view and cancel other people's bookings that are nearby me.

Can't get a rate estimate without booking.

Immediately upon opening this app, you're greeted with an off-center, badly shadowed logo. Really sets the mood for the rest of your using experience. Profile creation doesn't hook into the device email, so you have to manually type it out. Can't pick a password that's more than 8 characters long.

Where is the cost of the taxi ride? Rate button is just for rating the app. To see your advance booking do you have to set up a profile BEFORE booking? I set up profile after booking, and I can retrieve my booking. App buttons sometimes are missing the text, e.g, "Next". App needs work.

Great idea, not sure if it worked. Booked but then there was nothing to track, not sure if yellow cab received the message

I was surprised and glad to find a yellow cab app but the actual service is bad. When my cab didn't come as stated 10-20 mins. We called only find a really rude telephone rep. He said a cab came but we were waiting outside in the cold and no one came. Nor did anyone call us. We tried to explain to him that we've been waiting in the cold and he just kept cut us off and kept talking. I said hello repeatedly to get him to stop. He said a cab has been sent and just hung up. 15 mins later our cab never came.

The booking form does not allow you to add a date and time. Buttons disappear. Design is awful. Bookings made online do not show up in app. Useless.
