You need firmware 1.6 with this app. Works mostly perfect. But it's not a huge deal hence the five stars. The problem is when you are transferring data via the Wi-Fi it doesn't sense that the git2 isn't idle. So it turns off after the idle time is up... the reason this doesn't matter is it's faster to take the sd card out and transfer it that way.

Just like my title says, I was very excited to downloading this app instead of using the FinalCam apps. This app disappointed me. Very bad UI, you can't play videos, awful player. Just 2/5 because I liked the Gitup Git2.

This app need major updates it is definitely in an alpha stage and they need to do major work before it's useful. It constantly makes my git2 freeze if I try to download videos. Please update soon I need an app for this or it makes it so hard to use without it. PLEASE!

I can pair my phone with the camera, but the live feed doesn't work and whenever I try to open any of the menus, the app crashes. Looking forward to it being fixed because the camera seems pretty cool.

Live video feed, and remote recording work fine, but trying to download or watch video saved on the memory card causes the git2(1.6 firmware) to totally freeze, removing the battery is the only way to stop it. Fncam does the same. Finalcam works all good.

The app connects to my git2 perfectly fine. I get no live video, I cannot change my camera settings and the app freezes. I was really hoping on a polished app since I love the camera. I'm using a Samsung S7 with Android Nougat. The camera works fine with finalcam. Once the app is fixed I will change my review accordingly.

This crashes constantly on v1.4 but is OK with v1.6 firmware. Very average app though, hope they develop this including full setting control of camera and ability to watch videos.

Does not work properly. Record button works, live view works (with 1sec delay) but all the other buttons in bottom row are not working 4 times out of 5. Tap is registered (button hanges color) but nothing happens.

after waiting so many months, its finally here but useless, downloaded and connected successfully but no live feed, it says failed everytime, what a waste of time.

This confirms that China can not develop any technology only copy western design. My god I wish that I didn't f%&k about and bought a gopro from the start, buy cheap many times then learn buy quality once, why haven't I learnt. What a joke this is. The camera had good reviews on YouTube. This is a proper techmoan, no integrity at all. I will unsub him too. Annoyed doesn't express feelings. Minus five stars for this shambles of a so called app.

Wow! This app seriously sucks! It crashes in seconds every single time I open it. Seriously take it down or update it. Too bad for a brand with such a good name in the market to release an app like this....

It can adjust a *few* camera settings. It's not a larger, touch-screen version of the camera menus at all. You can't use it to change the wifi ssid or password, or type in custom text stamps. You can view the files in the camera, but the app only works in portrait orientation so images viewed on a phone are only a little bigger. Video files are only thumbnails. You can make your phone work as a slightly delayed remote viewer and shutter, so I wouldn't say this app is useless. But it ain't much. Edit: You can't copy files directly to the phone w/o crashing the camera (even with the latest firmware). It would be smarter and more honest to remove features that don't work. This buggy beta version has been out for over 4 months now. I guess this is what we get.

When I try to review photos or videos through the app it freezes the camera, and then I have to pull the battery from the camera to reset it.

The camera & the app disconnecting after i try getting to see the files on the memory card and the camera frizzes i have to get the battery out to stop & restart

Works fine with 1.6 firmware. Live view is well and reliable latency.

After over a year of waiting tk to get an app that does not work. Very very disappointing. F After connecting camera to my Samsung S5 gthe app just showed a black square with no piture frlm camera and i could not even acces half the controls on the app. The home worked as did facebook link but the report did nothing. The icons down bottom did not work except for the show photos but that crashed the app after 30 seconds. Im very over Getup now after such a long wait and such a huge disappointment. Its so ironically that 3rd party apps work with no problem but their own app is so so full of faults and totally useless.

One star is a bit too much for this app. It's the most unfriendly app I have come across. It barely loads my media and sometimes it doesn't do that at all.

I thought it was just me.... Like most of the other reviews here the app makes the camera freeze to the point of having to remove the battery. Very disappointed. Like the camera. Hate the app.

Useless, it is very slow and once you click on videos or pictures camera freezes

After using the app, take a long time to show the video was filmed in the app, it works very slowly, once you have taken this video poking the camera and you have to take out the battery to the camera turns on again, I will be happy if the next version fix the problem, thanks

This app suck it keep crashing and I'm not even getting a image but I'm not surprised since it come from Gitup!

My git2 connect successful, no bug was found, just need add all the setting of git2 to the app and fix some wrong about the ratio went live view at photo mode too

The app needs a lot of improvement. Laggy and buggy is the word. It led to turning my Git2 cam off.

What a disappointment. It causes the camera to shutdown as soon as the phone finds the WiFi. Poor development

Horrible, unstable, worst than an alpha version, no sorting, no video download, hangs every minute.

La app no funciona bien en mi Galaxy S4. De conecta pero no muestra ninguna imagenen y la app acaba forzándose. Una pena cuando por fin nos traen la app oficial de esta cámara hacen una chapuza.

La aplicacion se sincroniza mal con la camara, funciona mucho mejor la aplicación Finalcam. Espero q la mejoren lo antes posible.
