About CIRC

CIRC is an IRC client in the form of a packaged Chrome app. It uses chrome APIs to implement features not found in other web IRC clients:

* Connect directly to any IRC server - no proxy server needed
* Remember your nick and what channels you were last in on any device
* Use the same IRC connection simultaneously on multiple devices
* SSL server support

I've used CIRC on Windows systems before, via the ChromeApp, and really liked it. Unfortunately, the experience on Android-x86 is not the same in terms of connectivity options. TLS is not working correctly, which is a deal breaker for me because I use TLS to connect to my network *exclusively* (even though I control every node on the network). The error I'm getting is "Socket Error: TLS Error: Could not parse certificate list". If this is correctable, I'll elevate my rating on this app.

It was great until the latest version of Android. Doesn't work at all now.

Not working on Nexus 6 @ 6.0.1

It's a great IRC client choice for people who prefer to have it as simple as possible. It automatically remembers your servers, channels and passwords on login with no need to write a script or do anything at all, which can be time consuming. Obviously not everyone will prefer this, though. There are still people who wish full customization and tons of buttons to work with, and I don't blame them. But for me, this gets the job done. My only complaint is I can't see who's Op in the room, which kinda sucks.

Two stars for the awesome desktop experience, that's it.

I have the Moto X 14. Loved this app til one day it didn't open. After 3 reinstalls still no good. Would be 5 stars if it worked. Will update if it gets fixed soon.
