Ginkgo Audiobook Player

This is beyond a doubt the best app for listening to long recordings, such as audio books and courses.

This app is the easiest to use. Navigation through the player is simple & intuitive. Navigation of the phone & tablet folder structure to organize & locate audio files is much better & more flexible than other players I have tried. I have it on 2 phones & 3 tablets.

I have used this app for years and always loved it. With the latest update any bookmark I add disappears within a few minutes. I can't figure out how to change any settings. Also the status bare is too close to the play/pause button and you can easily screw up your spot in a boom which is especially troublesome if your book is one giant audio file.

I use this to listen to podcasts. The forward and reverse buttons (two for each!) can be set for any time amount, like always skip ahead 10 seconds. This is a miraculous app. Thanks.

I always wanted a app which would be played without Internet and this is the one.

The user interface is outdated by today's standards. Presents an annoying introduction screen at the beginning of initial app launch. One has to guess to click "History" to proceed to the app. Then it doesn't have visible options to navigate to a folder on your phone - like Dropbox or something.

Literally everything I could ask for in an audiobook player. Been using reliably for over a year now. It always remembers where I am in the book, intelligently picks up the next file despite labelling, and has a simple browser. What more could you want?

(Samsung Note II) It worked very good and smoothly until 2.11.2014. when I updated Android (4.4.2.). After that, audio files in awb format have so terrible sound. Like you draw with nidle on glass surface. Same files were OK before update

But that's about it. I can't add anything to be played and there is no way to choose a base folder in the settings.

I like this player. It small,fast and good sound. Best thing for me it have folder selection option.

Can anyone tell me how to delete a file/folder (ie book) when I'm done?? I will give 5 stars after i learn how

While the user interface is relatively good, you need instructions and stability to be a good application. Unfortunately this app has neither yet...

Completely failed to save my spot in the audiobook, crappy interface with no settings or help at all.

Great app! Only possible improvement I could think of would be the ability to delete files after I'm done with them. Other than that, perfect.

Please, add play speed setting.

The controls in this app make language study much easier. Interval rewind, bookmarks, and last place memory are fantastic for that purpose. It would be nice if I could launch it as a media player from the file browser. I would also like to have a list of all bookmarks in all files for quickly going to a bookmark in another file.

Works well, but unable to find my audio books, so of no real use.

5 stars, for sure! Have been searching for an mp3 player that have interval skip control. This App does exactly what I want & it takes up very little space. Would be nice if I can change the Gingko leaf image.

This one is lightweight and no nonsense app, does exactly what it says. Eats some data by means of ads through.

Not just an audio book player, also a podcast player, or any long mp3. Long mp3's need big and small jumps, because moving a slider is just plain silly for precise jumps.

I download audio books from the library. Some aren'allowed to be downloaded to any apple device. This app works great. I just can't figure out how to delete the book when I have finished it. Please help. Thanks for a great app.
