Four Winds

Four Winds is an abstract painting generator. It randomly generates unique abstract compositions that evolve constantly over time. Paintings are random, but use a range of different harmonious colour schemes based on colour theory. Works best on a larger screen such as a tablet, or even better - cast to your TV screen (e.g. Chromecast).


Instructions:

Paintings begin with a composition of coloured squares, but these gradually disappear as the colours are shifted around. Depending on the speed of your device, it may take a minute or two for the initial squares to completely disappear and be replaced with coloured textural areas. The painting will continue to evolve the longer you leave it, and may surprise you if you wait long enough! This app is intended for those who love abstract paintings and would enjoy seeing them slowly evolve over time.
