Gigwalk

Great app, fast payment. I have been using the app for a week now. I have 13 jobs under my belt. All have paid within 48 hours. I live in the outskirts of Houston, but I zoomed out to the national level on their map and I can see lots and lots of pins for other cities big and small. My only complaint is that I wish they would hold onto the money until I request payment or cash out. I rather get paid $100 increments instead of a few bucks here and there, however since they pay to PayPal, I have no problem with just waiting for that to hit $100 and requesting payment then.

Great app, especially if your looking for something small/odd jobs. The only issue I have is sometimes the gigs have up to 2 days or so before it's due, I wish we had longer than the maximim (24 hours) to complete it. Other than that, great, and pays pretty quick. I have had no issues thus far, and recommend for anyone to use.

It's a pretty cool app. It does have a steep learning curve; like, there's no information out there on how to use it in the field. They do need more gigs though. There was a bunch in Fresno and Sacramento, but now it's practically blank. On the positive side, it doesn't seem to take more than two days to receive payment in PayPal. I even had payments occurring driving between one stop and the next when I knocked out 15 in a day.

I work between 4 jobs and always am looking for more ways to make some extra cash. There have been a few times where it took a week to get paid, but I have yet to be stiffed. Average of $5/15 minutes a gig. App can be slow sometimes but otherwise is very easy to use. Would recommend!!!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having "mock locations" issues. The other day the app was working & now it's not, so I took my phone to Verizon & 4 different people tried to figure out how to turn off my "mock locations" there's no way to turn "mock locations" off or on on my phone (Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge). They said it's not my phone but it's the app. So if there's a fix to rectify this issue, it would be nice if it would get resolved. I would like to give this app another try.

I like the idea of the app. Although I haven't seen very much opportunity thus far. My only problem is when you apply for a job it takes for a response. It would be much easier if it was accepted faster so you could do it when you applied rather than rushing to get it done by the deadline because it took to long to be accepted.

I would love to get the website gig. I think this app needs more Gigs to choose from. Their concept is Great. This app appears to be very interesting but the pay isn't comparable to how far you go and what you do. I like it because it is different and I love taking pictures. Everything on the app doesn't work the way it should. Sometimes payment is slow. This site has improved on how quickly they pay

I've had it installed for example weeks, check pretty much every day and there has been one gig and I didn't qualify for it. And I live in a major metropolitan area. I'll give it a couple more weeks but so far it seems like a complete waste of time

You don't get very many jobs in your city but when you do the jobs are easy to do, They're fun and the payout is satisfactory to the job and you get paid actually this is a legit App. I really enjoy it. The only complaint is i wish that the was more jobs in my area

What fun ! It doesn't pay much, but the tasks are quick and easy. The only down side is when there is no good wifi signal, then there are problems trying to upload... even using straight data (that I have to pay for.) Recently, there were two different tasks, (on 2 different days, and in 2 different towns) that when I completed the tasks, it actually took three times the amount of time to upload it. Overall, I enjoy it very much.

I live in a populated city where shops are everywhere around. The closest gigs were located in NJ 16mls really? What kinda cheap ass store s they want!

Mixed success. I've only done 6 or 7 gigs & am not sure if I'll do more. I spent a good 45 minutes doing a wine inventory check only to have the photos not upload to the app. I tried several different wi/fi sources, powering my phone on & off to no avail. No online support. Frustrating.

This app is great for a little extra income but will not substitute for for a full time job. (1) the more gigs you do, the better your reputation gets, and the better jobs you can apply for. It really only takes like 30 jobs to reach that level. (2) getting paid does take awhile but you have to realize that there are hundreds of other people doing the same gig and the company has to review them for accuracy before paying.

I only had gigs around me the first day within 5-7 miles,now everyday since then,the gigs are 20-35 miles and nothing in my area..Ive had this app for over a month now.

I live in a medium sized city, and no work. Unless you live in a very large urban area, then good luck finding anything. Spend time to register, just to waste time.

I have to uninstall this app because I noticed this is the only gig app is having trouble detecting my phone mock locations is off. The app stated that it was on. I checked and it was never on. It was always off. I sent to FA support regarding about this issue. The support stated that it has to do with the carrier Sprint. I sent the screen shots to Sprint. I have other gig apps that works even the mock locations are off. But this one is a problem.

Av $4/gig, a few more, some less. Mostly in/near big cities. Very sad about GW. They've never promised a real wage but I was busy making "pin money" till their big client vanished mid 2014. Now few gigs, most grabbed in seconds, & some gigs want more tasks for less pay now. GW Support peeps are A+ but they can't fix that. Many longtime "Excellent" Gigwalkers only have "Average" scores or gave up. Hopefully it'll recover one day. Facebook group: Gigwalkers.

I don't have mock locations turned on. I don't believe this app is compatible with Android 7.1.

If you run into any problems like Gigs being taken away from you that you've already signed up for, and you try to get help from Gigwalk support; in one instance it took about almost 3 weeks to get an answer from Gigwalk support.

Application barely runs on my phone. Finicky projects which don't pay much. Payment sometimes delayed. Slightly better than earning nothing. Only useful in a real jam.

Just downloaded....seems legit but gigs seem so far to get to. Waiting to see if there are closer gigs ...so only two stars until I can figure out how this works...really confused right now with the interface setup.

Keeps saying disable mock locations, I have no idea what that is or how to disable on a Samsung note 4. So I can't use this app. Hence the 1 star.

I like the work available. The app runs very slow.

It's mediocre service offering little work that typically just didn't give you jobs or force a small application process then doesn't select you. For the money it's a waste of time. Use Mobee or maybe Field Agent instead.

I've checked the app daily since I downloaded it a week ago. All the gigs closest to me are in the next state over - the tolls to get there would cost me more than the gigs pay

I have done a lot of jobs, but now the app is getting EXTREMELY slow. Not enough gigs, low payment, but fast pay. Will not do anymore $3.00 gigs for motor oil because all I have gotten 8s Walmart and the other day I waited for 35 minutes for an associate who is never available to answer my question. And I've done this for $3 of course I am not going to get paid for this gig because I didn't wait around any longer than that so that was a waste of over an hour of my time probably about 45-50 minutes of my time by the time I got with the shelves looking for this product that wasn't there.

The app is totally functional. The Limited number of gigs, and the distance driving to them , is a bit of a bummer. Maybe as they grow more local gigs will appear.

This was the worst app from home I every used. They never had gigs. When they did at times the address took me to other places and when trying to rectify it no one on the gig responds. This is a piece of bullshit

Absolutely nothing within 20 miles of where I live. Unless you live in a major city, don't waste your time.

My 1st fifth when I signed up was awesome. Not as many pics and ?s as easy shift which was cool but it's been 2.5 months now and not 1 gig has been posted within 30 miles of where I live ...and yes...we're a city w/>250,000 pop.

How long does it take for the gig to be approved? I finished mine within 2 hours yesterday and it's still under review. Plus I need gig's closer to me. I'm not driving 44 miles (closet) for a $5 (at the most) gig. Something like that is with way more ($10 to $15 sounds better because had where I am is $2.01 a gallon

Easy to use! It took me time to learn it because I'm slow but when I got hang making ching!

Low paying jobs for sometimes extensive work. Not a lot of available jobs within 10 miles. If all ducks line up, it's nice to get a couple bucks.

Says that I have mock location enabled, but I do not. Sprint carrier problem apparently.

This app is really helpful for someone that works 40 hours at minimum wage and still needs more money.

The app is alright however I have only had about a month where there was jobs available. Ive been using Gigwalk for like 6 months and for five of the months there has been 0 jobs. Pls more jobs in Canada!

Pointless. No jobs in Los Angeles. Closest one was 104 miles east in Palm Springs. For $4. GTFO

I have used this app for few months now. I have not had any problems . I wish there were more gigs available in my area. Also it would be nice to be able to apply for gigs in other areas , so I can plan to do them while traveling.

If we need to complete most Gigs with 24 hours, then Gig/company should commit to pay within 5 biz days. Only fair.

Until more gigs show up around me, this app is useless. The nearest "gig" was 33 miles from me. Not gonna spend 5$ gas round trip to get a 5$ reward. If it helps the gig team my location is round rock/ austin area of texas
