It is super easy and fast to scan a VIN from either the dash or door. It will pick up the barcode in any lighting conditions and just about any angle.

Please understand this isn't for the general public to use. Its for car dealers and those that need to appraise with Nada, Kelly Blue Book, and other evaluator subscriptions that we pay thousands of dollars per year for to use with this software. Please read the description before you knock it for not working! Great folks, been using this software for nearly 10 years when it was palm pilot based. The scanner helps a lot!

Even after you scan the vin the app still asks u to manually enter year make model trim and if u want a price u have to manually enter the entire vin... FAIL.... The idea of the scanner is to provide said information not upload it so some database and ask user to enter it manually
