구룡포음식테마거리

2014년 5월에 구룡포의 과메기.물회거리가 문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사가 주관하는 음식테마거리로 선정되었다. 이곳에는 과메기와 물회를 취급하는 60여 곳의 전문음식점들이 모여 있으며, 주로 취급하는 품목은 회, 물회, 문어, 전복, 고래고기, 과메기, 대게 등이다. 이중 겨울철 별미로 유명한 구룡포 과메기와 포항의 특미로 잘 알려진 물회는 전 국민의 사랑을 받고있다. 특히, 포항시는 구룡포음식테마거리 선정과 관련하여 친절마인드 함양을 위한 교육을 실시하는등 전국 최고 수준의 음식테마 관광거리로 활성화 하기위해서 많은 지원을 하고있다.
