SMB plugin for Ghost Commander for Android
Set up a Samba server, configured the firewall to allow Samba traffic, cannot connect using ghost commander Samba plugin. Depending on wheather the server is configured with WINS support, either the server is not visable at all or if WINS is disabled and the server is set not to be a domain controller, the server is visable but ghosh cooander fails to connect with a c000001 error. I have no idea what c000001 is, I can find no refrence or documentation regarding it, so I have no idea what the problem is.
very limited! transfer rates are slow, constant timeout1 errors.
wont connect using a microsoft account to a share on a win10 machine
app works,I endorse this app +++ Twitter+++ Countfd I give 5 stars for app reliable.
Access Windows shared folder with ease
Love Ghost Commander! Moto X Style.
Superlative SMB File Manager
If it had a little more explanation as to how it works and how to navigate through it, it would be five stars.
Only thing is that it could be faster, I'm getting 2mb/s and it's possible to get 5-6 with other apps. Other than that it's perfect
I love these add-ons, they make Ghost Commander work that much better.
Ghost commander is the best file access point to be given to a phone, works just like my pc. Thanks
Thanks works well. It may be my n/w but the odd time when sending mb file to server I get transport1 timedout waiting response from server. If i could set longer jcifs tout it might behave.
Can't copy files 1:1.
This plugin work very well. Let to access Windows Shared folder in the LAN from GhostCommander.
My go to app for transfers between my android devices and windows network.
shall we dance?

If I want to connect to my machine, I always need to use the IP address - if I use the machine name (which is persistent - in opposition with the IP addess), it just can't find it. I always need to check, or find out, what is the IP. After connection is established, works like charm :)

Working fine
Needs to include the Samba's Server function to allow me to share files from my mobile devices while sitting at my PC. The client works perfectly. Just watch out for software firewalls (i.e. Kaspersky, Norton, etc.) from blocking your connection to the PC. One the best tools I have on my devices, a side from the Google Drive plugin.
I'm in love. Fast, intuitive GUI brings your network assets to you... Everything at your fingertips.
External SD card,no rights

Force closes on v1.41.1 of the main app. Also, FTP in the main app times out while connecting. Don't waste your time like I did.
Allows access to Windows based drives. Great tool that works flawlessly.
The best file manager I've found
Works great
Works great.
Kum
with latest version not possible to access Win7 SMB share. Previous version worked like a charm.need fix
Better on Android than Total Commander itself ! User friendly, well thought out, powerfull but still easy to use.
Not sure what to think of this. Ghost commander is really good, but this plugin fails to connect for some reason. AndSMB works, but it is not as comfortable as ghost commander. Hope this will be fixed soon.
Pffff, this wins hands down. No other file manager makes moving files so easy either!
Hi. Pls fix the copy operation errors when copying a folder on the network drive that already contains a folder of the same name. Its inconvenient when there are multiple subfolders with same names inside.
And on to of that support is phenomenal

This add-on fails for people with dynamic computer addresses. I have a mix of Windows and Samba shares and they all have a dynamic address. This means that I have to check the address every time or set every device to a fixed IP, UGH. I prefer the ability to browse the SMB shares without all of the typing. See the ASUS file manager which provides easy machine and share browsing. However, I still like and use the Ghost file manager. I just leave the SMB portion to another tool.
