GW Lite

There is more concentrated garbage in this app than in all of the landfills in the world combined.

I like the concept of try before you buy. However a fully functional email app for groupwise would be a better teaser in my point of view... Premium app could include schedule , docs etc

Basically useless, you can see you have a message but can't reply, forward or do anything else. It let's me know I have to go to a computer and deal with messages

It appears to works but it has no functionality. Will only show the very last email that you received. You can not do a single thing with that 1 email except read it. Absolutely nothing else. Why bother? I don't blame the software vendor for this as they just want money. OK fair enough. I do blame novell however for providing nothing to their customers. That why they have less 2% market share and soon will zero. Good riddance.

The app did just what it was intended to do. It showed me that the app I was considering paying for would indeed work on my new Samsung galaxy s4 mini.

This app is useless. Only tells me that I have 25+ emails, etc. but won't let me view any of them.

Does everything it states in the description, but since it's named GW Lite instead of GW Mail Account Test or something, it makes me wish that it had the ability to send push notifications to your phone when you get email (even if you can't read them)

Simple and very convenient

I installed this app hoping it would help me with my emails. Unfortunately it doesn't let you send emails. Amd I'm not going to 9.99 for this app. But thanks.

Lacks any true functionality, even for a lite app. If you want someone to be able to decide on purchase, this lite app will not help. Waste of my time. Try providing full functionality for a limited time.

Its not usable, you see you have email(s) but can only read the last one received and can not reply... Good for preview tho but just pay the ten bucks

If the full product was 1/2 the price I would buy it! This product helped me determine it works on my Le Pan

I really liked the lite version. It allowed me to see how it worked before purchasing the full version.

Helpful in testing GW connection. Does what it said, but after reading the title I thought it would have simple email as a lite version typically implies. Worthless after you connect and see it's possible to connect, so can't give More than three stars It does prove that Google Android is interfering with other platforms other than Gmail. I connect easily with this utility, but simple IMAP, not so much.

Okay, for basic info

The lite version shows how many emails you are unable to view. I bought it for my iPhone but since I upgraded back to an android they "cant give me credit" to use on my new phone even though I only bought it 6 months ago.... dont waste your money and time

App works as promised

Good app, but would be great to have one app with all functionality mail+calendar like in already upcoming GW2014 mobile web interface. Cuz its awesome, but only available thru web mobiles phone browser :o

The description makes it clear that this is not a fully featured client app. The app's purpose is to test if your GW system is compatible with the developer's paid apps (GW Mail and GW Calendar), so you don't waste money on apps that may not work for you. It does exactly that – no more, no less. Users who complain about the app being not "functional" or compatible with their device because it only shows one email at a time need to read the product description again.

Only shows you if you have emails waiting so you kNow to go to web. Not a client. But apparently if this works their $10 works too.

You can only view one message at a time and you get a bunch of 401 errors. I will not be buying the paid version.

Not for droid. I can only see one email at a time. Have to close out to open the next one. Not versatile. Won't by the main one. Nice that this let's you check before you buy. That is a plus.

This application function.

All this does is alert you if you have email or an appointment or whatever you can't actually do anything.

Lite usually means some functionality. This app simply connects to groupwise and shows you have mail, or not...one cannot actually do anything. would be nice if it could show a message screen and allow you to respond as gwise is not particulary android friendly.

So far so good. Worked as described to test access to servers.
