About GedStar On This Day Widget
Was anyone in your family tree born on this date? This is an add-on that provides a home-screen widget for the GedStar Pro genealogy app. The widget gives you a daily count of the births, deaths, and marriages that have occurred on the current date in your family tree. It requires GedStar Pro to be previously installed, as well as a registered copy of the GedStar Pro Windows program, V4.0 or later.
Tapping the widget gives you a full list of the day's events, with access to the detail screens in GedStar Pro. Status-bar notifications are also available. You will find this app to be very useful and entertaining!

Good app, does exactly what it is supposed to. I just upgraded to the bought version for full functions. You must have a registered version of gedstar pro on you pc for this to work.

Summary of today's events is shown in widget and scroll-down from notification bar. Selecting a name brings up that person in gedstar. Convenient. Also, it is a lazy person's way to duplicate entries.

Great widget if you like to know who in your family tree was hatched, matched or dispatched on this day. Make sure you have the correct Windows version installed at the other end and wait for the DropBox / Drive synchronisation before trying the widget.

Was fine in fact enjoyed knowing wot happened years ago But updated and reloaded my gedstarpro database and On this day couldn't find it! Uninstalled O t day reinstalled and now no widget anywhere! !!

The main bug is that it will now occasionally delete your data file. Annoying but other than that it works well. Fix this bug and I will switch it to 5 stars.
