GetScreen parental control for Android
Hi I will give it a better star rating when you fix that my son can't go into settings and then the app doesn't work anymore, have a question: how do I change my child's profile name?
So far so good, install was a little herky jerky, but I ironed everything out. One, I am on Android and I am trying to control two iOS devices, I can't use the locate device, or do a screenshot. Is that because I'm on different platforms? Second, I notice it doesn't actually "lock" the device. It just force closes, my kid tries to use the device and can play for a few seconds, but it force closes again. Is that how it "turns the screen off"?
Worked at first, now it doesn't. Pre-teen able to hack and disable on android. My dashboard claims kids device locked and no usage but it is unlocked and kid using it all the time. Rules don't work to lock and neither does manual lock
Cannot find the child app on iPod touch. Only the parent version and it wont let me set it up as a child device. Honestly lots of kids aren't old enough to have a phone, so it would be great if it worked on iPod 5. Great idea but can't get it to work for us :(
Wanted it so I could do the kids xbox ones and there laptop/fire tablets.cannot get on xbox one.
I love being able to turn off all the gadgets in our home, with one shake of my mobile phone. We have set a basic daily allowance and set times for the children's tablets to be unlocked. Our children have created a list of chores & alternative play ideas, which will earn them more screen time later. This summer holiday hopefully will consist of more quality time together as a family, with less overall screen time.
My sons Samsung tab3 lite can't find the kids app. Is it not compatible?
Will not let me add a child device. Always wants it set up as a parent. Useless. Fix!
Won't seem to install on ds2
On my end it says my kid's phone is locked but it's not! I played with the settings and tried to get it to work for hours to no avail. Being able to remotely lock my kid's phone from an app on MY phone would have been fantastic! And it won't let me uninstall the app from my kid's phone!
in this era where kids are becoming more and more exposed to everyday content, you as a parent lose focus and you don't have time, this app helps you with exactly that, i can finaly take back control! thank you getscreen
Was fairly easy to install, so far there is no friction (I like the agreement, good idea).
Yes, my kids are addicted to screen. But finally, we got some control. Even better - they signed up for it through the contract process. For me, this app is well designed, thoughtful and extremely effective.
Couldn't delete it off my kids phone because it wasn't the device manager!!! I Uninstaller mine znd took him off account before that but his is still on his phone....
i want to uninstall the app from the kids phone please tell me how thank you
All I use it is for the night. I now know the kids are not playing on the phone.

Simple enough to setup, but no native uninstall prevention or ability lock apps. I use in conjunction with app lock/it's secondary monitoring service app to prevent uninstalling screen and installs. It works pretty well except the logging in screen is skewed because it always shows the app lock image in the parental control device screen. The activity log is spotty and not active. It's a decent start but I hope to see these features included natively in the future.
