I've been waiting for something like this. I like the sounds of it, will give full review after thorough use!
Really innovative app. Now I can do a lot with my Chromecast than just using that silly extension in Chrome.
Great way to have things on TV while you're around the house. Highly recommend!
Doesn't show thing
My favorite app of the year!! Imagine waking up in the morning, turning on your TV, and being able to voice command for the news and information you want on your Chromecast. Scarlett let's you do just that. They've started with small number of apps and my favorite is the customization of Twitter app on my big screen. I can now follow and navigate my tweets hands free with simple voice commands. This is a relatively new app, but I can see it being a game changer for chromcasters.
This app has really changed how I look at YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit. I am able to do a lot more around the house after this app. Usually on weekends I have the app running on the TV and catch-up with what's happening on the big screen. Since I don't have cable TV subscription this app has really been a godsend! Full disclosure: I am one of the dev/designer on this app and can't get enough of it! :)
I wanted a more personalized and entertaining version of the Chromecast backdrop and Scarlett is just that. It has a handful of sources today, but I can definitely see where this is going and it's very useful already!
Great Google cast app to quickly get caught up on trending videos and my own subscriptions.
I can just turn on Scarlett and watch tweets from my timeline and songs from my YouTube playlists. Plus, it catches me up on news and entertainment that I would otherwise miss out on.
Fun and useful. Chromecasters, dont forget to check it out!
I use Scarlett all the time whenever I exercise to catch up on news and trending stories on reddit and Twitter.
Scarlett keeps me entertained, informed, and up to date automatically. When there's something of interest, I can tap play on my phone and Scarlett does the rest. Best of all, I can talk to Scarlett and ask her to scour for specific videos and she'll find them, cue them, and play them without my switching from app to app and mangling the search terms with my thumbs. And when I'm zoning out or busy around the house, Scarlett's autoplay feature streams content continuously.
I've been using Scarlett to stay updated on news using their Twitter feed and entertainment using the YouTube mix. Love the fact that it automatically shows me stuff across sources rather than having to keep browsing multiple apps manually.
