This is AWESOME! So, this app ticks all the right boxes: Is FREE and has NO ADS. I'm not 100% sure how the sync works though. would love if it worked only on the local network, without the server.

I was excited to try this. Love the concept of a local, non-cloud desktop sms app. BUT it wouldn't sync my phone contacts to my computer at all making it useless for that purpose. App doesn't appear to function as intended. Verizon Samsung Note 5, Chrome, elementaryOS.

Works great! I know people are comparing it to PB which isn't fair since this is free, but personally I find this to work seamlessly with my Pixel. Looking forward to future updates.

Horrible, tried several times to link with no success, I don't have time to waste on an app that doesn't respond. Uninstalled and will keep using Pushbullet

Cannot connect to server! Not pairing. Is this app still supported by developers or not? - OnePlus One

Great app, only when I try to send a note to my phone, the app crashes.

Love the new update much better pairing. Works great!!

Great replacement for pushbullet, without all the file transfer nonsense. If we could just dismiss the notification on the phone from PC it would be perfect. Love that phone calls can be made from PC.

This app and it's companion chrome extension are completely unusable. The pairing feature doesn't work. App crashes every 5-10 minutes.

I thought I would try Pushline as a replacement for Pushbullet because I was not happy that they are trying to become a premium service. Unfortunately, though it seems to have good intentions, Pushline is sorely lacking in functionality. It seems more of an Alpha than it does a Beta. Cons: can only push to Chrome addon, not other people(why it has a shared folder function with no way to share the link to that folder makes no sense); none of the "Control your phone" functions work from Chrome--can't send text or note, doesn't find phone, doesn't dial a number; there's no way to look at a history of pushed things; non intuitive way of choosing which apps from which you don't desire notifications--from app you have to toggle off all the apps instead of dismissing from Chrome; no tablet support, so you only share with the Chrome addon; can't copy/paste TO phone; constant, non-removable, notice in the Android notifications tray. Pros: sends links from phone; can copy/paste FROM phone; nice color scheme.

Will change rating after the following features got implemented: 1) Add support to search for applications to mirror 2) Allow users to disable (or enable) all mirrored apps 3) Add mirrored apps group support to ease access

no longer supported by company aka DOES NOT FUNCTION anymore. Shame.

Don't work. Notifications are not being mirrored (but mirroring is enabled). Useless.

This app does exactly what I want from push bullet: mirror texts and notes between my phone and chrome. Except this app does it for free.

Great for phone control/SMS. I love that I can dial the phone from my computer. As someone with severe anxiety, this might really help me get over my "phone panic"! Clean and quick - SMS, notifications, etc. It could use a facelift, but the functionality is top shelf! Using as a PB replacement and the set up was quick and the improvement immediate. PB is VERY SLOW at sending SMS messages, but Pushline is LIGHTENING FAST! Great product! Glad to have found it.

I do love this app its a great alternative to Pushbullet once they put up a pay wall. I do which you could take more actions on the desktop to your phone. For instance when your alarm goes off you can hit snooze on your desktop and the action happens on your phone's notification. Its not a great example but the idea is there. Keep on updating, open source it I would love to help build functionality.

Unfortunately, didn't work. couldn't get past "check the code" in activation. On my personal school computer, I'll try my own computer soon. It may be blocked, but AirDroid works. I you can fix the issue then I'll be grateful.

It is a great app. I get all the notifications on my desktop. The pop-up notifications only mention notification types, such as sms, email, etc. Hope some day these pop-up notifications will be similar to phone notifications, i.e., show who texted or emailed., battery is full, etc.

I came here to search alternative solution to Pushbullet, Because tht application was consuming lots of battery. Pushline promise that it wont consume battery too much. Few things to improve: 1. User interface is not very good/interactive for both chrome and app. 2. I was running apps update and got lots of notifications. 3. Some notifications annoy like, Getting call, call started, call ended. 4. If you provide priority notification concepts I would love it. Enjoy !

My contacts never seem to show up in the chrome app. It just repeatedly says it's syncinc, then finished, then still no contacts. What a shame. LG G3

Chrome extension won't take my android code. Keeps telling me to check the code. Checked 5 times. Tried 3 codes, no avail. Now. My android app says it's paired with the pc but the chrome extension still asks to pair a device. I understand this is in beta so this won't be my final review but right now I am unable to use it.

I installed coming from Pushbullet since they think it's okay to charge for once free features. One of the things they moved to the paid version direct notification action button support, which is also absent here. However everything else works great except for the toggles, which have no indication of whether it's on or not (in the slideout menu). My last problem is the ui in both the app and the chrome extension, which could use a material design makeover because currently they look 2 years outdated.

Viable No Cost Solution for Responding to Multiple Devices. After trying MightyText, PushBullet, and some of the other android phone pairing apps, this is a great solution. Being able to use a full size keyboard from my laptop or desktop and not chase the phone is great. Recommend only activating phone only apps to avoid duplicated messages. (i.e. programs that are already on the PC like Outlook) I would love to see some user settings for text size, etc for Pushline specifically.

It's good, but not as good as Pushbullet. Not because of the interface, but because you can't actually interact with notifications unless they're SMS or phone calls. Would love to see this change in a future release. Then it'll truly be a Pushbullet alternative.

M70%
by M####:

Came here to find an alternative to PushBullet, mainly to get around the SMS limit recently imposed. The SMS feature works great, but it's a little clunky. You can't click on the desktop popup to reply, you must click on the chrome extension icon to pull down a list of your notifications that are mirrored. From here you are able to reply to messages. Not a huge deal, but just very different than PushBullet. Also you should be able to click on http links from this menu, but you can't; you must copy and paste the link into a browser. Also, each time you send a message, a Pushline notification gets added to your phone stating "successful". This really fills up the already cluttered Android notification landscape, sadly. This may be necessary for some reason, but it's unfortunate..

It's good when it's working although a bit limited when compared to Pushbullet. Only problem is their servers seem to be down often.

So far so good. I have never used Pushline or Pushbullet. I installed and tested both. Although Pushline lacks a few of the features that Pushbullet has, IMO it's more efficient and streamlined. The UI of Pushbullet is just too much..Too much going on. Pushline is more streamlined, although it could use a bit of redesign/tweeking. I just hope that if/when that happens that you guys don't go overboard like Pushbullet did. Does that make sense? HA! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to: 1) The ability to reply to a text via the notification. 2) A Stand-Alone Desktop Program 3) Ability to add a photo or attachment to an SMS 4) Icons listed within the Apps to Mirror 5) A select/de-select all option in Apps to Mirror

The constant notification from the app is really bothering me. An option to removed would be good.

Just unusable for me. Constant contact download loop, no message history, duplicate notifications.

Great alternative to Pushbullet. Great to see an app the provides almost the same service, and all for free! Before I give this a full 5 stars I would like to see the following: - A way to disable battery charging notifications. - The ability to command the app from the desktop pop-up notifications (i.e. mute a certain type of notification, mark mail/notification as read, send SMS) - Clear notifications from queue. - Make certain types of notifications private

M70%
by M####:

I love this app since its a great alternative to anything else and it's completely free. If they added the option to read text messages rather than simply reply to them that would be perfect.

I would not recomend it becuase you cant connect to the crap servers that tell you to check that you can connect to the web. I can go on the web, watch youtube, go on google images and even stream videos to my tv but cant connect to a server.

Everything is fine, but the Copy-Paste option has to be two-way. Currently it is only one way. If I want to copy something from PC to phone, this is not happening. Please introduce this feature as well and then you are done and a 5 Star Rated for sure.

Not only does this app mirror your notifications, it generates too many if its own and mirrors those too.

- SMS notifications need a reply button. - "SMS sent successfully" notification is unnecessary. - Needs to sync the SMS conversations into extension.
