OnSwitch : Philips Hue / LIFX

Interesting concept but flawed with too many IAPs which wouldn't be 'as bad' if there was at least a way to preview them. Otherwise a decent companion app and has a universal place for Hue owners of all kinds but again falls short limitations most of which are IAPs.

Great scenes, but over priced. The lack of scene previews is disappointing so you don't know what you are buying beforehand. App takes a while to load too.

Too many extra costs. Nearly every theme requires more money. So have an upfront cost not more and more for each update.

Hmm I had this app about 6 months hoping they would of fixed this by now. So it tells me they gave up on this app. So I'm deleting this crap

To expensive to add scenes and the Free included ones are not that great.

Hands down the best one so far. Love the additions that the dev has made recently. *Edit* still the best.

Good, but no preview for the scenes. A time boxed sample would be essential.

Great app, only one that can put a theme over my hue and lifx bulbs. But as other reviews its way too expensive for the themes and you don't even get a trial to see if you like the colours, you should have to pay once and get all of them.... Also would love the ability to create your own themes.

I changed my 5 star rating to a 2-star because after the update all the developer did is add more paid features but didn't do something so simple as to be able to shut this app down without going back through every page to the beginning for it to shut down!

Shoddy interface and pricey in app purchases.. Just doesn't feel like a premium product!

Great app. But some of the scenes do cost a few dollars and a 15 second lag on the start up.

Excellent and simple

Always hangs/freezes for at least fifteen seconds after launching. This is an ongoing and unresolved issue which many users are experiencing. Once app is loaded it functions well. However due to the initial loading issue, I rarely use the app and I've invest many times the cost of the app in scene purchases. The majority of the scenes are top notch quality. If only it didn't freeze, I'd give it 5 Stars

My main Hue app but continues to hang on startup.

One of the best apps to manage Hue lights.

Although rather expensive, Onswitch provides more custom Huelight choices and themes then any other Hue app available. When a recent update went wrong with the app the developer worked tirelessly to correct the problem. This is my favorite Huelight app by far!

Incredible app. I just got my starter set with 3rd gen Philips hue and I've tried several apps. This one definitely takes THE prize. True, its a few dollars here and there which can get pricey, but it's worth it

I like the app features but it keeps sticking on a single group... It won't switch groups so when I try to do a theme or color it only affects the original group and not the one I selected even though I turn it off. Very frustrating

Some good content for free but the amount of IAPs is annoying. Make this like 3-5 bucks for everything and we're talking.

I like the features but the app consistently freezes and stops working when run in the background on Android.

Love the scene options and ability to choose a combination of groups. Better and more useable than the hue app.

Waaaaay better than default. Get it or never be truly satisfied.

Just couldn't get it to see hub after button press. Hue app worked fine.

It changes colors on your lights. Woo hoo. Loading the app usually includes a long initialization where the app becomes unresponsive as it tries to connect to the hub. Today, it put a notification (with sound) in my Notification Bar telling me about a theme that was free to celebrate a holiday. This app isn't important enough to tolerate spam notifications. Uninstalled. I've got better things to do.

Love the app, however it takes a long time to load and often becomes unresponsive while doing so. I'd love to see an option to turn lights on and off via the notification dropdown.

Decent for a while. A small handful of great color rotations. However, recent updates deleted my purchase history of most of my in app buys. Buyer beware.

Load time's are a bit annoying but tolerable i use it mainly for movie room theme.

I like the app.here's what really bothers me when you go in here it does not SAFE ALL your colors settings like stated. example when I go into a app that is set up for music all the lights will change, I have 9 colored lights and 3 white lights. When I go back into this app I don't see any previous settings that will restore your light colors so you have to reconfigure them all over again. I would love this a lot better if you guys could make A way to save all light settings and you could restore them easily. Please reply if there is a way to save all your light settings without having to start all over again , it is very frustrating I am looking for an app that will save all light settings.
